Looking at the sidebar (and the list of negative news - which is necessary - by no means am I saying we should only be positive), I began to ponder the issue of positive news. Since the purpose of FR is, in part, to, "roll back decades of governmental largesse, to root out political fraud and corruption, and to champion causes which further conservatism in America," wouldn't it be prudent to dedicate an entire portion of our news source to news that shows where "our" cause has triumphed?

Dozens of Cuban Dissidents Face Trial for Subversion By DAVID GONZALEZ ANTO DOMINGO, Dominican Republic, April 3 — Ignoring international condemnation, Cuban authorities began trying dozens of dissidents today on charges of subversion that could bring life sentences for some of the government's most outspoken opponents. Human rights advocates in Cuba and the United States said as many as 38 people were brought to trial in courtrooms from which diplomats and foreign journalists were excluded. They said the trials of about 80 dissidents who were rounded up in an islandwide sweep last month could last through the weekend.

Who is the best patient? Five surgeons are discussing who makes the best patients to operate on. The first surgeon says, "I like to see accountants on my operating table, because when you open them up, everything inside is numbered." The second responds, "Yeah, but you should try electricians. Everything inside them is color-coded." The third surgeon says, "No, I really think librarians are the best; everything inside them is in alphabetical order." The fourth surgeon chimes in: "You know, I like construction workers. They always understand when you have a few parts left over at the end and when...

"Already in the first day of a US-led disarmament effort, we have seen more progress on the issue of...

Fear No Evil! A Sermon on Psalm 23 Richard J. Vincent We all must wrestle with our fears. To deny them is dishonest and dangerous. Furthermore, denial gives us no real ability to face our fears and courageously conquer them. In his first inaugural address, on March 4, 1933, Franklin Delano Roosevelt said that the only thing we had to fear was fear itself. That sounded nice; it was good rhetoric; it had a nice ring. The problem is that it wasn't true then and it isn't true now. We have a lot to fear, and there is something...

Bet you stand up and say HELL YEAH! After ya read this. If the man/woman who wrote this ran for PRESIDENT I would VOTE for him/her. I like big cars, big boats, big motorcycles, big houses and big campfires. I believe the money I make belongs to me and my family, not some governmental stooge with a bad comb-over who wants to give it away to crack addicts for squirting out babies. Guns do not make you a killer. I think killing makes you a killer. You can kill someone with a baseball bat or a car, but no one...

I know that this has come up in various forums before, but since the 9th Circuit's decision on the 26th, much of the liberal media's discussion has centered around the supposed "separation of church and state" clause in the ConstitutionI am sick and tired of all of the leftist commentary recently regarding this supposed "separation of church and state." There is NO SUCH comment in the Constitution!!! When are they going to get that through their thick skulls? Since when is outside commentary by someone who did NOT help frame the Constitution allowed to be constued as being relevant to...
