I do voiceover work on the side, and I'm getting to the point I am booking some work. I want to redo my existing website, which was all hand-coded in HTML ages ago. Can anyone recommend user-friendly software for web design? I've got a host and DNS referrals in place... just want something more professional than what I have at the link. Thoughts?

There’s an expert for pretty much everything here… I am patching a pretty crappy concrete driveway, and I had a 6” at deepest hole to fix. I cleaned it out, washed it repeatedly with my pressure washer, painted it with bonding compound, and filled it with Quikrete Commercial-grade concrete (orange bag)… and discovered I was probably about 2 bags short. It finished ½” to 1” short of the end depth. It has been curing for two days now.

I’m looking for some computer help. I(n the past, I've used Mozilla Thunderbird as an email vacuum, so that every time I run it it’s soaks up all the email in my regular email account, and then deletes those from my regular web mail account. I’ve done it like this in the past, but I had a system crash, and I’m reinstalling Thunderbird on one of my machines so that I can use it again to soak up email and then delete it from my email account. I’ve got it so that duplicates emails from my account, but can’t seem...

Well, the 20th Anniversary Contest for Thief: The Dark Project has been put to bed and is now in the judging stage! And I am pleased to say that five of the 24 Missions submitted feature my silky, buttery delivery as Garrett, the Master Thief! An honor that these mission authors came looking for me for that smarmy, silky master of the pickpocket, the grab, and the silent disappearance!

Today, in a parade for a holiday that Christians celebrate as thanks to God and most celebrate as thanks for sanctioned gluttony, your "family-friendly" retail giant celebrated "The Prom", a musical that celebrates how small minded you are for thinking that a lesbian taking her girlfriend to the Prom is just wrong. Yes, YOU are the real problem, you un-woke bigots. Sigh. I miss America.

My Pastor's wife's niece and nephew were killed today by a out of control car, which ran up a curb and hit them in a yard. I cannot imagine) greater grief than losing two kids in one incident. I am generally pretty strong in the Spirit, but I am having a definite strain here...bad things happening to good people. PRAYERS PLEASE for those two poor kids, the family, my pastor and his wife, and myself. Thanks.

I am going through a large collection of stuff my late father had, and in addition to a bunch of his WWII ribbons and such, I found what looks like an Iron Cross with ribbon dated 1815 on one side and 1914 on the other. It's in good condition. I see these on Ebay at up to $1000. Does anyone know someone I can trust to evaluate it?

I am sure SOMEBODY is going to complain something about my posting this, but I have always gotten good computer advice from FR. I am getting started in voice acting, and have a website promoting my talents. Can anyone tell me how to make my main page play a sound file from a list of files? I want to have 20+ comic intros on the site, and have the webpage play one of them, at random, whenever the page is re/loaded. www.everybodyandme.com

I think Paglia on Salon may be unlinkable, so I just pulled up the Wikipedia link, for a word she used in her article, cited on Drudge, today...so here goes... I am a news and political junkie, as most know. I have watched Donald Trump’s rise and been amused by how the masses embrace him, and the Elites fear him. Today, in a web article, I bumped into a word that has fallen out of favor...and is rushing back at us, bigtime: Moxie. A footnote to history, mostly. A soft-drink that modeled itself as being the Zip, the Flash, the...

I have an idea for a brilliant, sarcastic Conservative phone app called "Happy Safe Space Filter" that would be a wonderfully hot ticket with Conservatives, and/or Sarcastic Teenagers. It could either be a freebie for the Cause, or in true Capitalist fashion, would probably sell well at 99 cents. (The joke works I a lot of ways, but would include a little body copy crediting Conservatives.) I claim the idea and would be willing to give it up for 10% of gross. It is a pretty simple thing. If you have App writing experience, please message me here on Free...

Can anyone recommend a good CPAP supplies website?

I see the bodies pile high, young girls that squirm and twist, And still the ignorant soccer moms chirp at me “Coexist!” Well, some beliefs are just plain evil, some ideas just don’t rise To any kind of standard that free people cheer and prize. I will not smile while people die, with Liberals grinning dumb I will stand up and shout aloud when monsters drooling come And sadder still than murderous beasts are you who simply stand Foundationless, with no beliefs beyond the shifting sand Like Chamberlain, and weak-willed fools who let vile Hitler grow You will refuse with...

A dear church friend (and veteran) was in Washington this week on an Honor Flight to see the WWII memorial and other sights and had a mini-stroke, a second one in his long life. Praise God his escort was a EMT, and they were minutes away from a very good hospital, but prayers, please. He will have to do speech therapy but all limbs are good. I know this will shake him because he has recently recovered from the last one, but again, praise God that he was in exactly the right place to have it treated immediately.

For the first time in ages, I am refurbing an arcade machine. I have done nine of them, but it has been a while. Anyway, I use an old Win98 PC to emulate arcade games in the old case, and I have forgotten if this can be done...I am trying to idiot proof the machine so after I get it set up, people won't be messing with the OS. I would like to remove the My Computer and Recycle Bin icons from the desktop in Win98. Worst case, I could edit a blank Icon and rename them with blanks, but...

In my youth, vampires were EVIL INCARNATE. They used you and left you dead or worse. Somehow, in the past fifty years, vampires have become teenaged heartthrobs, misunderstood and full of angst. But do you realize, from a societal and sociological point of view...vampires are the perfect man for modern women? In my youth, in the movies, men were men. You were either John Wayne…strong, silent, but caring underneath, or you were Cary Grant…quirky, but strong, witty on the surface, but a manly good guy underneath. They were GOOD INCARNATE. We have gelded the modern male. Once they were supposed...

I want to convert an old Powerpoint presentation into a mpg, avi, flv, anything that I can rig to post to YouTube. I have a XP machine running Office 2003. Can anyone recommend a piece of software which will do this?

My daughter's XP desktop computer crashed, and I am replacing it with another XP box. The old main drive is a slave drive on the new machine, and I can get all the document and picture files. Firefox is being a bear, however....is there any way to recover the Bookmarks file from the old disk and merge it onto the new one? If I had exported a bookmarks.htm file BEFORE the crash, I would be fine...but even running Firefox from the old drive won't seem to let me grab the bookmarks.

I was given three surplus Direct TV boxes by an ex-customer of Direct TV, a friend of mine. Would like to post them as free on local Craigslist. Do they contain any of his info, or are the of any use to another current Direct TV customer?

“For at least 25 years, she has been living a major lie,” said former Dutchess County prosecutor Steven Pagones, who was falsely accused of raping Brawley in 1987 and finally tracked her down, thanks to The Post. “To me, this has always been about responsibility and accountability,’’ added the former ADA, who won the $190,000 defamation lawsuit against Brawley, 40, now a nurse in Virginia, more than a decade ago.
