Researchers analyzed data from more than 1.4 million high school students between 1993 and 2017, collected by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention for its Youth Risk Behavior survey. Scientists today revealed they are 'extremely close' to creating artificial embryos after a huge breakthrough. Researchers used mouse stem cells to produce artificial embryo-like structures capable of 'gastrulation' - a key life event. Gastrulation occurs when embryonic cells self-organise themselves into the correct structure for an embryo to form. The breakthrough offers hope of shedding light on one of the biggest causes of infertility - embryos failing to implant in the womb. SD Unified gets armored vehicle City schools police have obtained their own military-grade Mine-Resistant Ambush Protected vehicle through a federal grant. A fed-up father has asked a judge for a restraining order against a 9-year-old boy accused of verbally and physically assaulting his son at his school in Fairfield. The student, a fourth grader at Rolling Hills Elementary said he was terrorized by the school bully. A drug treatment center in Vancouver, Canada has installed a crack pipe vending machine at its facility — going retail in an effort to reach hardcore addicts and keep them off the streets.
