The BCS games have started. ND just took a 7-0 lead over Ohio State. This game along with the Rose Bowl look to be the best of the four. Predictions?

ATLANTA -- Two members of the Miami football team were knocked unconscious Friday night moments after the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl, Hurricanes coach Larry Coker said. The incident took place after LSU's 40-3 win over Miami. Exactly what happened was hazy moments after the game. BOISE, Idaho (AP) - CEO of MPC Computers apologized to Boston College defensive end Mathias Kiwanuka on Thursday for making fun of his name during a banquet before the Eagles' bowl game against Boise State. At a banquet Monday night before the MPC Computers Bowl between the Eagles and Boise State, Mike Adkins read a list of the top 10 things Boise and Boston have in common, including, "No one in either city can properly pronounce Mathias Kiwanuka." Adkins mispronounced Kiwanuka's name in the punchline and some Boston College players said later they found the joke insulting and disrespectful... ......

Good seemingly good games today.... One being the Emerald Bowl from San Francisco pitting Georgia Tech against the Utah Utes. A former BCS team of last year facing one of the most inconsistent offenses in college football this year. GT beat Auburn, but found a way to lose to NC State and Virginia. The other game being the Pac Life Holiday Bowl. Should be a fun game. SAN DIEGO -- The berth in the Holiday Bowl began as a harsh reality for the Oregon Ducks, who had hoped to play in a Bowl Championship Series game. On Tuesday, the bowl offered a different kind of reality check when the Ducks and the Oklahoma Sooners were invited aboard the USS Nimitz, a 97,000-ton, nuclear-powered aircraft carrier. All of the players seemed to enjoy touring the ship at Coronado Island. The ship, which stands nearly 20 stories and is more than three football fields long, had special meaning for one member of the Oregon team.

MIAMI BEACH, Fla. (AP) - The Bowl Championship Series agreed to add a fifth game Sunday, increasing access for schools not part of college football's most lucrative postseason system.
