In Cuba, this doctor’s home has running water for only one hour a day Here’s a six minute video on what it’s like to be a doctor in Cuba.At 4:53, when the doctor is at her home with her husband and their daughter, the narrator says:“… they only have running water one hour a day…â€If that’s how Cuba treats its doctors, I wonder how they treat the average citizen.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zBC5w2O4jVI

I was in solitary confinement in Fidel Castro’s tropical gulag — where I spent 22 years for refusing to pledge allegiance to the Communist regime — when I heard a child’s voice whimpering. “Get me out of here! Get me out of here! I want to see my mommy!” I thought my senses were failing me. I could not believe that they had imprisoned a child in those dungeons. Later on, I learned the story of Robertico. He was 12 years old when they arrested him. A captain in the political police had left his gun in his open car....

The most important question raised in the Democratic Party’s South Carolina debate did not concern such foolish measures as Medicare-for-All, reparations for slavery, or Joe Biden’s imbecilic exaggeration about murder statistics (150 million murders in the USA? Really?). The key issue of the day was only mentioned in passing, by Michael Bloomberg, of all people, and it was immediately set aside… and of course, he got it wrong. Michael Bloomberg tried to make a case for his nomination, on the grounds of his own extensive business experience… and his own long and happy collaboration with Mainland China. He talked about...

I am in mourning. Although I should be retiring "high on the hog," so to speak, my heart breaks for students who have no clue and have been spoon-fed so much that they do not know basic multiplicaiton facts, choose not tp follow rules, and cannot follow simple directions. It's as though they expect all to be given to them. And if they do not get their way, I am to blame.

I am a word artist. I add words to photos and films. I am not an American, but I am a big fan of Donald Trump. He is the foremost political leader in the world at standing up to a very politically effective third wave feminist misandry that is poisoning institutions and ruining men’s lives across the Western World. He is the victim of Fake News. The Breitbart report I have just seen about Democrats trying by implication “to blame (Potus) for the spread of coronavirus” shows me an extreme example, if true, of just how absent truth is from...

Bernie’s decision to endorse Hillary Clinton back in July 2016 left his supporters with a little option as they would never support the candidate that stands for everything that they opposed. But it seems that we can see why he endorsed her! Former interim chief of the Democratic National Committee Donna Brazile broke her silence on the 2016 election early as 2017, saying she had “proof” that Hillary Clinton stole her party’s nomination from Bernie Sanders. As always the mainstream media did not crucify the DNC, if this kind of scandal was about President Trump it would have been another...

Like many Freepers I have a significant IRA account in the stock market. The last couple of weeks have been absolutely brutal and I've watched my IRA shrink by.... A LOT. I'm dying to hit a liberal so damn hard right now. This is frustrating as all get out. I'm torn, part of me says "ride it out, the market will come back, be cool. It'll turn around in a day or two" and another part of me thinks that this corona scare downturn isn't near bottom. How are you Freeper, in the stock market, handling this? AND for you...

After a four-year battle with the state, the proposed Constitution natural-gas pipeline project has been abandoned, as National Grid warns of a coming natural gas supply emergency next Winter. The State of New York has a natural gas shortage, the result of years of the administration of New York Governor Andrew Cuomo and environmentalists fighting the construction of new supply pipelines. A June 2019 report by The Manhattan Institute documented the shortage and its causes, Out of Gas: New York’s Blocked Pipelines Will Hurt Northeast Consumers:

If fully implemented, but otherwise implemented wisely, Senator Sanders’ agenda for the economy would reduce real GDP and consumption by 24 percent. Real wages would fall more than 50 percent after taxes. Employment and hours would fall 16 percent combined. There would be less total healthcare, less childcare, less energy available to households, and less value added in the university sector. Although it is more difficult to forecast, the stock market would likely fall more than 50 percent. Previous analysis of Medicare for AllWhen I was at CEA, we used an extension of the neoclassical growth model to assess the...

In time for the election, Reddit cripples and censors their Trump-fan discussion forum, one of the biggest and most important conservative discussion forums on the internet. The moderators of the forum have announced Reddit is taking them out and asked people to migrate elsewhere, such as https://thedonald.win/ , ruqqus, etc..

Anthony Ferrill, identified as the gunman, worked at the MillerCoors brewery, and later at the Molson Coors brewery, for more than 20 years, as an electician. He was listed on an IBEW Local 494 Facebook page post in September 2018 as one of several employees being honored by the union for reaching a milestone at the brewery. He had worked there for 20 years at the time, according to the post. The union has not commented on the shooting. On her various social media pages, which have now been deleted, Ferrill’s wife posted photos of her family and expressing liberal...

This is part of a pattern of CAIR overreacting to things, and demonstrating that they don’t like people. Recently, there was an incident in South Carolina where a mosque was tagged with graffiti which said “utterly blessed”. While certainly annoying, Ibrahim Hooper’s insistence that it might be a bias incident is simply not believable. He wanted the police to catch the kids who did this and punish them. Just last year, police finally caught up with and charged the men who gave the finger to Muslim family on the freeway in Georgia. CAIR would charge them with a hate crime if only Georgia...

As the person who posts the daily Live thread on COVIOD-19, I am often pointed at as a ring leader for the "hype" and "hysteria". I don't think its fair, but I get it. I want to make a couple of over arching statements based on my life experience working in hospitals, emergency management and along side municipal and federal emergency preparedness organizations and departments. My work experience in hospital emergency planning and working with local, state, and federal officials provides me with a perspective that is different than most. The planning for these is things is pretty unemotional and...

I hate long drives, but the one redeeming aspect of them is that I get to do something I never do otherwise: listen to audiobooks. Driving to and from Dallas is a 16-hours-plus trip from Baton Rouge. I made it with my wife and kids this past weekend, for a wedding. On my son Matt’s recommendation, I listened to historian Tom Holland’s book Dominion: How The Christian Revolution Remade The World. Before I say anything about the book, I want to recommend a cool piece of technology. It’s illegal to drive with standard earbuds in, so Matt let me borrow...

lhan Omar told friends years ago that the man who went on to become her second husband was, in fact, her brother, DailyMail.com can confirm. She married him in a Christian ceremony outside of the Minneapolis Somali community so as to keep the marriage secret. But hardly anyone realized that meant marrying him. “She said she needed to get papers for her brother to go to school,” Abdihakin Osman Nur , 40, told the Daily Mail. “We all thought she was just getting papers together to allow him to stay in this country. Once she had the papers they could...

This is a question to all Trump supporters and conservatives. We are in the fight for our lives, the socialists and ‘Bernie Bros’ want the rest of us disarmed for their ‘revolution’. Those of us on the right need to band together in stopping the assault. The purpose here is to compile a list of the “Better” 2nd amendment freedom groups such a GOA or VCDL. Part of the problem is that some groups are posers and Ne’er-do-wells The gun feed recently did this: Help us compile a list of state gun rights organizations… http://thegunfeed.com/state-gun-rights-organizations/ The more information the better...

The lefty co-star of the third installment in the Nightmare on Elm Street series is apparently trying to help force a nightmare on Wall Street. Patricia Arquette felt it worthy of the #RESIST movement to summon her inner Bill Maher and implore followers to tank the U.S. economy. How? She told her followers to not buy anything on March 2nd. Really. Arquette took to Instagram to post what appears to be a screenshot of a Feb. 15 tweet that read: “A REMINDER: please contact everyone you know. On Monday, March 2nd, we’re going to have an Economic Shutdown.”

By the time the Morning Joe crowd is finished, there might be no one left in the Democrat field! Over the last week, Scarborough & Co. have been urging Elizabeth Warren and Amy Klobuchar to drop out. But as of Thursday, Morning Joe's got a new target for the get-out treatment: Mike Bloomberg. Scarborough riffed off a poll showing that, with Bloomberg remaining in the race in Texas, Sanders and Biden are tied. But with Bloomberg gone, Biden would have a commanding lead. Scarborough surmised that the same thing would occur in 20-30 other states. Donny Deutsch weighed in, saying...

It’s Bernie Sanders versus the Democratic National Committee again, and as in 2016, many congressional Democrats aren’t taking his side. Sanders has argued that whoever gets the most delegates — even if they fall short of the DNC’s threshold — should be crowned the nominee for president. But House and Senate Democrats, for the most part, insist that the party stick with the rules that were rewritten specifically to address complaints of bias against Sanders in 2016.
