Since Governor Palin’s On the Record appearance Tuesday night, the blogosphere and media outlets have been buzzing with opinions that she’s not running for president in 2012. Her conversation with Greta Van Susteren left some to ponder, perhaps more than ever, if she has decided not to relinquish her freedom–not to be shackled–for the sake of a title. Comments left in various and sundry places revealed that some people were angry, some were confused, some were frustrated, while some remained encouraged. No one was unmoved, however. No one was without some type of reaction. No one was neutral. It was,...

What will it take to get Chris Christie to say yes and run for the GOP nomination? Come on down -- Sarah Palin. If the queen of the Tea Party makes a grand entrance into the Republican primary sweepstakes the New Jersey governor will finally say yes to all the calls for him to jump into the race. At this moment Palin has reason to think she should run. A mid-September McClatchy/Marist poll of registered voters put her only 5 percentage points behind President Obama in a head-to-head match-up. No previous poll ever put her in the elite category of...

This poll was posted by a guy who claims to be a conservative, but when you ask him why he dislikes Palin, he repeats the same lies as the MSM. Truth is, I personally thing he is a bit Schizophrenic, and I told him so in a comment a few days ago. He is hopping to prove me wrong by showing that no one would want Palin as the nominee. So do me a favor and shop him the power of FR. Below is his comment to me about what he thinks of Sarah Palin. There isn't one chance...

The critical issue for the 2012 election is whether or not a government of the people, by the people and for the people, shall perish from the earth. The US Government has been hijacked by a self-serving, permanent political class, which considers itself above the law and elections as bothersome formalities temporarily interrupting their plundering of the nation’s wealth. Having become comfortable with ignoring the will of the people, American politicians have created a culture of corruption in Washington, D.C., while they steadily whittle away at the Constitution to remove any remaining obstacles in their pursuit of personal power and...

Peer-review dogma in climate science and in science in general Posted on August 26, 2011 by Per Here is a video which describes vividly how global warming science has been able to capture the world and how climatologists with the help of the peer-review process has distorted the science . Worth looking at . I showed in the previous post about an article describing dr Roy Spencer’s new paper which shows that the atmosphere releases more heat into space than what is expected by climate models. This shows that the climate sensitivity of CO2 is low . Here is...

As cold fusion events demonstrate, modern science is ruled by conformity, not the search for scientific truth Posted by aksell on August 29, 2011 I’ve often wondered why it is that conventionally trained medical doctors are so reluctant to venture outside the limited thinking of conventional medicine. Why are they hesitant to adopt new ideas and new theoretical models for the underlying causes of human health or disease? I think I have at least a partial answer to this question: Doctors only succeed in medical school or in acquiring publication of their studies when they conform with the views...

Prof. David Nagel "LENR global impact will be historic" Dr. Nagel: "(W)hen you look at this field, the science is still wide-open, it is simply not understood what’s going on here. There are some people saying it’s entirely nuclear, some people saying it’s not at all nuclear, some people say it’s a mix of both. There are people saying it’s occurring on surfaces, people say it’s surfaces in bulk. I could go on, but the point is it’s wide-open science. < When you go from science knowledge to technology and capability, there are things separate from Rossi that are...

The popular hard hitting I Love South Africa but Hate my Government blog at: iluvsa.blogspot.com was pulled by Google in another Google act of censorship. The blog took a critical look at the policies of the government as well as publicizing the escalating genocide against White & minority farmers as publicly noted by the President of Genocide Watch Gregory Stanton. It also occasionally took a look at the valid distinction of Boer identity from the bulk of the non-Boer descended [ Cape Dutch ] Afrikaners & their long struggle for independence & self determination. The blog was opposed to violence...

Is it the Taxes? No it's not the taxes, it's not even the budget, it's the philosophy stupid! While I'm viscerally opposed to unwarranted tax hikes, here's an image that comes to mind when I hear people screaming primarily about raising taxes. Picture a person who has been beaten, eyes closed, lips pressed tightly and silently together as he is being tied to a stake with thick red duct tape, tinder is gathered at his feet and the edges of it have been lit. Next the attacker reaches into the victims pocket for his wallet and begins pulling dollar bills...

There is very little to be gained from a study of Anders Behring Breivik. He was a loner who was alienated from the society he lived in, suffered from depression, played violent video games, used steroids, listened to angry music and was of above average intelligence. This profile describes half the spree shooters in the last two decades, right down to the Columbine Massacre. It is not Breivik's politics that make him significant. He was an outsider who despised society and escaped into romantic fantasies of omnipotence fed by video games and popular culture. Breivik cultivated a detached attitude toward...

MSNBC Info-Babe to Congressman: ‘Do you have a degree in economics?’ ‘Yes ma’am, I do. Highest honors’ MSNBC’s Contessa Brewer, you may remember just yesterday said the attack on Rupert Murdoch at a hearing encapsulated what the British were feeling. Today, Contessa “educated” a conservative Representative that if Congress does not raise the debt raising, the country would be “reverting into a depression.” Rep. Mo Brooks (R-AL) said he disagreed which prompted the MSNBC host to ask him if he had a degree in economics.“Yes ma’am, I do. Highest honors,” Rep. Brooks responded.According to his Congressional page: “Mo graduated from...

I've written before about how the stimulus was a dismal failure, wasting billions with very little to show for it. The folks at Navigant Economics recently published a study looking into another facet of the stimulus package, the portion subsidizing rural broadband deployment, $2.5 billion in total, dispersed by the Rural Utilities Service (RUS). On the surface, bringing broadband to rural areas doesn't sound like a horrible idea as broadband can lead to productivity gains for businesses. However, as we've seen with other government programs, even good ideas can be completely messed up by the government. The big problem...

Dear Mr. Cain, Many conservatives have been touting your candidacy for president as cause for great hope that they will be able to support someone who understands limited government and freedom. That’s why your answers to Wolf Blitzer’s questions on gun control (see sidebar video player at 3:04 mark) have raised concerns among right to keep and bear arms advocates. Specifically, you affirmed your belief that “states or local government [should] be allowed to control guns.” That's the same "home rule" position advocated by the Brady Campaign. Some in the conservative camp are trying to find excuses for you, telling...

A blog purportedly written by a gay woman in Syria, which described life in Damascas amid the current political unrest, has been revealed to be a hoax. A Girl Gay in Damascus gained a worldwide readership and was closely followed by news organisations. But the true author has now come forward - Tom MacMaster, an American man studying in Scotland. Many Syrian activists have reacted angrily, accusing him of trivialising or even harming their cause. "One day if I'm kidnapped by my government, many readers won't care because I could turn out to be another Amina," wrote one Lebanese blogger....

Kate’s new mother-in-law Camilla has been telling friends the royal bride has fertility problems which may prevent her from getting pregnant — according to sources. If the claims are true, the newlyweds are facing up to the fact that they may never produce an heir to the British throne! “Health complications from Kate‘s adolescence raised red flags that may have an impact on her ability to conceive,” sources close to Camilla have told In In Touch Magazine. The consequences would be devastating for the British monarchy. Both William, 28, and his father Prince Charles were born soon after their parents...

After all, in the past you have supported and given substantial contributions to Democrat candidates such as senators Ted Kennedy, John Kerry, Chuck Schumer and Hillary Clinton, not to mention the $50,000 check you gave to Rahm Emanuel for his successful run for mayor of Chicago. In 2007, you called President Bush "the worst president ever" and said "he should be impeached." You didn't switch from Democrat to Republican until 2009 when you first considered running for president. You could correctly claim that you have been pro-abortion, have supported universal health care and pushed for higher taxes.

While I watched an arrogant Obama report that bin Ladin had been killed, I couldn't help think how timely this was for the boy socialist. The media and Obama said the awesome job of our special forces had to wait for exactly the right momment to go. When all the pieces where in place. Obama knows that America is throwing up his socialist agenda. Was this the right moment for Obama also? We shall see if this incident pulls his bacon out of the fire. Maybe temporarily, but this changes nothing.
