They said any proceeding scheduled for next week will either be continued or conducted by video conference at the discretion of the judge. WLKY reached out to the mayor's office about the courthouse and timing on a decision. We were told, "We have not been told when an announcement from the AG is coming, but we believe we...

Authorities say three men have died in a shooting at a restaurant in Louisville, Kentucky. News outlets report that Louisville Metro Police said a shooting was reported Friday night at Bungalow Joe’s Bar and Grill. The owner Joe Bishop who is a former cop was still in disbelief the day after three customers were killed in a shooting at his restaurant, Bungalow Joe’s Bar and Grill. “I didn’t think I’d be scrubbing blood off my patio on a Saturday morning,” Bishop told WDRB News. “I thought I was getting ready for everybody to watch the ballgame.” Bishop said he had...

The suspect was smiling from ear to ear as he was arrested for the shooting at Bungalow Joe’s Bar and Grill. Michael E. Rhynes Jr., 33, was arrested just after midnight Saturday after police found him crawling in brush near the restaurant, according to a report from WDRB. The shooter was wearing a “Justice for Breonna Taylor” t-shirt. Naturally, the national media has completely ignored this story — which certainly would not have been the case if a mass shooter had been wearing a “Trump” shirt.

According to an internal memo from Robert Schroeder, the city's chief of police, the emergency declaration stops all days off and vacation requests for LMPD officers “until further notice”...

Tense moments unfolded at a rally in support of President Donald Trump in Aliso Viejo Wednesday when opposing sides squared off in what appeared to be an armed confrontation that was captured on video. Deputies were called to Aliso Creek Road and Pacific Park Drive around 6:30 p.m. Wednesday. Five separate 911 calls were placed, the Orange County Sheriff’s Department said. The situation ended with a retired police officer pulling a gun on a counter-protester who had allegedly pulled a knife, sheriff’s Sgt. Dennis Breckner said. The counter-protester, identified by Breckner as 33-year-old Alvin Shaw, is accused of assaulting three...

Two campaign team members for Republican Lacy Johnson, who is challenging Rep. Ilhan Omar (D), were shot Monday afternoon in Minneapolis, one fatally. Minnesota Public Radio reports that one 17-year-old and another team member were shot after being “approached on foot.” CBS 4 reports that the two were standing outside Super USA convenience store at the time, and that a gunman, or gunmen, fled the scene before they could be apprehended. The 17-year-old succumbed to his wounds and the other campaign team member was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries. Johnson’s Campaign stated that the two were not carrying out official duties...

The NFL has decided to utilize its spectator sport to proselytize its paying customers to their employees' social opinion. Unfortunately, many customers disagree with being considered racists and the denigration of their country. The athletes of the NFL can generally run fast and lift heavy things, and play a game for pay, but they are clearly not marketing geniuses. For my hometown team, the Pittsburgh Steelers, in their opening game, they decided to honor Antwon Rose as their hometown cause. For those unfamiliar with Mr. Rose, in the summer of 2018, he engaged in a drive-by shooting, fled from the...

The combination of politics and protests boiled over Sunday, with supporters of President Donald Trump holding a demonstration and clashing with counter-protesters on the Golden Gate Bridge Sunday afternoon. Officers from the California Highway Patrol and the Golden Gate Bridge Patrol tried to keep the two groups separated, and some arrests were made. The march across the Golden Gate Bridge was billed by conservative organizer Brandan Straka as an effort to "save San Francisco." He’s behind a campaign called Walk Away, an effort to invite Democrats to leave their party and join the Republican party. Straka said his group was...

MSNBC host Joy Reid gave a full-throated defense of Black Lives Matter, insisting demonstrators pushing for racial justice don't riot and blaming President Trump for the violence she said is being fueled by "white nationalist mobs." Reid on Saturday shared a local Seattle report from June, suggesting that Black Lives Matter isn't responsible for the unrest because of the 81 arrests that were made at the time and included race in court documents, 32 were White and only eight of them were Black; in addition, more than 70 percent of those arrests were from outside the Seattle area. "Let me...

Harris promoted nonprofit that bailed out violent offenders in Minneapolis Democratic vice presidential candidate Kamala Harris (D., Calif.) told a Minneapolis news station Wednesday that she and Joe Biden would "never condone violence or destruction of property," but she promoted a nonprofit that bailed out people arrested for violent offenses in the aftermath of George Floyd's death. "Joe and I would never condone violence or destruction of property by any means," Harris told WCCO-Minneapolis. "That's not peaceful protests, that's not protected by the Constitution, and it's not OK." When riots and looting ensued following the death of Floyd in Minneapolis...

The majority of Americans still have no idea that they are living in the midst of a low-boil civil war. They sit back on comfy couches, watching on TV or computer screens little snippets of the “new normal.” They see chaos enveloping large cities – Minneapolis, Seattle, Portland, Baltimore, Chicago, New York and D.C. – but don’t believe it will come to their small city or suburb. They believe Dr. Anthony Fauci and certain health experts who tell them it’s best to stay inside, even as they watch increasingly shocking events play out on their illuminated screens. For lack of...

New data from Princeton University shows that riots associated with the Black Lives Matter movement took place in 48 out of the 50 largest cities in the United States. The study found: In more than 93% of all demonstrations connected to the movement, demonstrators have not engaged in violence or destructive activity. Peaceful protests are reported in over 2,400 distinct locations around the country. Violent demonstrations, meanwhile, have been limited to fewer than 220 locations — under 10% of the areas that experienced peaceful protests. Mainstream media seized on the data last week to argue that the “Trump narrative” of...
