After a wave of quarterback injuries, national anthem protester Colin Kaepernick tweeted out a reminder that he is still in playing shape and wants back in the NFL. Kaepernick, 33, took to Twitter on Monday to remind the league and his fans that he is still working out, and wants a shot at resuming his NFL career despite refusing to participate in an NFL sponsored work out in 2019. Kaepernick tweeted, “1,363 days of being denied employment. Still putting in work with @E_Reid35. Still going hard 5 days a week. #StillReady #StopRunning” He added a video showcasing some of his...

The 737 Max has been grounded since mid-March following two fatal crashes. Investigators implicated a piece of new flight-control software in both air disasters that repeatedly pushed the nose of the planes downward. A total of 346 people were killed in the two crashes. The manufacturer on Wednesday posted the biggest quarterly loss in its history as costs piled up and it took a nearly $5 billion charge to compensate airlines affected by the worldwide grounding of the 737 Max, now in its fifth month. Boeing's $4.9 billion charge and the $1.7 billion increase in costs related to the 737...

Watching the Moon landing 50 years ago from his comfortable Paris home, Yves Beon could barely contain himself at the spectacle unfolding on TV. Dozens of white-shirted scientists and engineers at the Apollo Mission Control Center in Houston, Texas, were on their feet, many waving flags, cheering at a triumph that was enhancing American prestige and unleashing an ocean of apple-pie patriotism. Yet Beon, a hero of the French Resistance, was spitting venom at the screen that night and, had he been alive to see last week’s documentaries repeating the footage of Neil Armstrong’s ‘giant leap for mankind’, his reaction...

Another Republican has hopped on the impeachment train. After the Mueller report detailed President Trump's failure to take what Michael Gerson calls "a criminal plot by a hostile foreign government" to the FBI, the chief speechwriter for former President George W. Bush writes that "House leaders should lay the groundwork for impeachment." This move strays from politics' usual goals of "partisanship" and "endless fundraising," Gerson continues in his Monday op-ed for The Washington Post, but adds that this choice will "echo across the decades."

A former campaign aide accused of lying to the FBI said that then-candidate Donald Trump “nodded with approval” at his suggestion of setting up a meeting between Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin. George Papadopoulos’ lawyers argued in new probation filings that President Trump was open to his suggestions about meeting with the foreign leader in March of 2016, The Associated Press reported Saturday. Papadopoulos allegedly volunteered to set up a meeting between Trump and Putin during a gathering with Trump’s foreign policy advisers, including Attorney General Jeff Sessions — who was a GOP senator at the time. “While some...

AG Jeff Sessions is definitely moving in a positive direction in working for the American people to prevent illegal immigrants into the United States. As you know, we are being challenged at our border by the recent invasion of migrants from Latin America. President Trump is doing everything he can to block them, along with the help of Secretary Nielsen of the DHS. However, he needs the DOJ to do the same, and now we are hearing Sessions is doing just that. He has hired 8 new attorneys to go toward increased enforcement of the administration’s zero-tolerance policy toward those...

GANGNEUNG, South Korea (AP) — The first notes of Ed Sheeran’s “Shape of You” had just played when Gabriella Papadakis suddenly became aware that people were about to see a whole lot more of her shape than she had planned. The French ice dancer’s glittering emerald costume at the Olympics had come unhooked at the neckline and later in the routine her left breast was exposed live on television. When the clasp became unhooked, the 22-year-old Papadakis was more worried about holding up her outfit than making sure her twizzles and rhumba were in sync. Her swinging short program with...

Former Trump campaign aide Rick Gates has agreed to plead guilty to fraud-related charges and will testify against former colleague and Trump campaign manager Paul Manafort, according to the Los Angeles Times. Gates was going to plead not guilty after being indicted in October alongside Manafort but now reportedly has reached a deal to cooperate with special counsel Robert Mueller, the Times reported. Gates served as the deputy campaign manager for the Trump campaign. Both were indicted for hiding millions in Ukraine-based payments from U.S. authorities. The plea deal is the latest development surrounding the Mueller’s probe into Russian interference...

Miley Cyrus stopped smoking weed to speak more coherently — and because she was convinced the habit would eventually end her life. “I kept having this nightmare — I had a dream that I would die during my monologue on ‘SNL’ for some reason, that I would just get so stoned that I just died,” she admitted to Jimmy Fallon on “The Tonight Show” on Wednesday. “I Googled and that’s never happened … no one’s ever died from weed, but no one’s ever smoked as much as I did.” In early May, the 24-year-old boasted, “I haven’t smoked weed in...

Hey, y'all! I was banned for being a "never-Trumper" and now I am back. Thank you, Jim. Well, Trump won. I actually voted for him - as I always have (conservative losers VS. leftists) but I doubted his long-term political survival. I was wrong. I do not apologize for my taste but I will admit he was the best candidate. Now, it remains to be seen if he will be what all [C]onservatives want/wish/pray for him to be. Given some of his apparent appointments, I am not too sure. We shall see. If you want to flame me, go ahead....

Finally: we'll soon have a real, pro-American and staunchly conservative tv show. And it's hosted by one of the best conservative radio talkers on the planet, Mark Levin. I am thrilled we are expanding our Town Hall meeting place for patriots, by taking TV broadcasting to a new level on multiple platforms where I will speak directly to my audience — uncensored, without middlemen, and commercial free." He goes on: "I make no excuses for my...

President Obama's "anger translator" says he may hightail it out of the country if Donald Trump becomes president. Keegan-Michael Key, who performed alongside the commander in chief as Obama's "anger translator" at last April's White House Correspondents' Association dinner, says he's "not a fan" of Trump. Comedy Central's "Key & Peele" star told TMZ.com he would reject any amount of money to write a few jokes for the GOP presidential front-runner. "Absolutely not," Key responded when asked if he would help write some comedy bits for Trump "if the price is right." "It would be on my conscious, no matter...
