After a wave of quarterback injuries, national anthem protester Colin Kaepernick tweeted out a reminder that he is still in playing shape and wants back in the NFL.
Kaepernick, 33, took to Twitter on Monday to remind the league and his fans that he is still working out, and wants a shot at resuming his NFL career despite refusing to participate in an NFL sponsored work out in 2019.
Kaepernick tweeted, “1,363 days of being denied employment. Still putting in work with @E_Reid35. Still going hard 5 days a week. #StillReady #StopRunning”
He added a video showcasing some of his quarterbacking skills.

Nobody is owed a spot on an nfl team.

I think there’s been actually two back-up jobs offered, and both declined.
First, skills-wise, he was not what you’d call a multi-talented guy. He could play one single type of strategy (that’s what cost him his job in SF eventually).
Second, team leadership-wise, he’s a marginally what you’d want on a team. He was always more focused on himself, or his ‘cause’.
What’s comical here...five years into a 3rd rate soap opera with a marginal 2nd string quarterback...he’s still one of the top five stories revolving around the NFL.
Colin Kancer wasn’t ready in his last 2-14 loser year in the NFL, when he was busier posing for cameras than thinking about the game he was paid to play. He’s a disgusting, evil racist, and I hope the NFL dies, with or without him prancing around for anti-American political photos while his small audience is hoping for sports.
