A prominent pro-life group has bestowed upon President Donald Trump an award for his efforts to advance anti-abortion efforts. The Hosea Initiative officially awarded President Trump their first Bernard N. Nathanson, MD "Courageous Witness for Life" Award at their gala in Washington, D.C. on Sunday. The award was named after a medical professional who founded the National Abortion Rights Action League in 1969, but later became an outspoken pro-life activist. Terry Beatley, founder and president of Hosea Initiative, told those gathered at the gala that Trump was receiving the award because he had the “courage” to stand for “the right...

I don't know if this qualifies as a "bombshell" or not, but George Papadopolous last night said that he was being spied on BEFORE he joined the Trump Campaign. He stated that it started when he was working for Ben Carson. If this is true, must we not expect that Obama was spying on ALL ogf the candidates, not just Trump?

How on earth is Maxine Waters able to judge the intelligence of Dr. Ben Carson, a world-renowned surgeon who invented new surgical procedures while a professor at Johns Hopkins Medical School, at the very top of prestige and accomplishment in academic medicine? Yet the arrogant House member from Los Angeles, who somehow, on the basis of a political career, manages to live in a multimillion-dollar house in one of the fanciest neighborhoods in Los Angeles, denigrates the intelligence of one of the greatest medical innovators in the country and world. You can watch for yourself as Waters criticizes the intelligence...

Housing and Urban Development Secretary Ben Carson on Monday accused Rep. Maxine Waters, D-Calif., of lacking “basic manners” over a letter she sent to President Trump last month saying his “shamelessness knows no bounds," according to a report. Waters’ Oct. 28 letter demanded answers about the administration’s potential plan to push homeless Californians off the street and out of homeless camps, Politico reported. “Shamelessness," Carson wrote, "is a career politician of 30 years laying blame. Shamelessness is allowing more than 55,000 Americans to live on the very streets they represent,” he said about her district in South Los Angeles County....

U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz on Saturday said that to resurrect America's greatness it was necessary to revive the economy, defend the Constitution, and restore America's place in the world arena. Appearing at the conference themed "America at Its Best," Cruz told more than 3,000 attendees to the Western Conservative Summit in Denver that "the single biggest lie" is that Republicans are the party of the rich. "The rich have done fine with big government," he said. The ones most hurt by big government are those who are struggling. The event, in its fifth year, is sponsored by the Centennial Institute,...

"This whole concept of political correctness ... it's going to destroy our nation." That was the no-nonsense response of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Secretary Ben Carson to Congresswoman Jennifer Wexton (D-Va.) earlier this week. Wexton was trying for a "gotcha" moment in a congressional hearing when she asked Dr. Carson if he would "apologize" for being quoted for expressing concern over "big, hairy men" trying to gain entry into an Alaska women's homeless shelter. I could not have said it better. On yesterday's edition of Washington Watch, Dr. Carson – or Dr. Politically Incorrect as I've called him -...

Over the weekend, we looked at allegations that HUD had broken the law by not kicking off disaster relief fund disbursement for Puerto Rico in a timely fashion following Hurricane Maria. HUD officials offered some reasons why they didn’t meet the deadline, but none of them seemed to be particularly persuasive under the circumstances. At the time I noted that the press (and their friends, the Democrats) would likely take this opportunity to go after HUD Secretary Ben Carson, who has long been a target to tag some sort of scandal on. As the old saying goes… that didn’t take long....

Now we have some Democrats calling for Secretary of Housing and Urban Development Ben Carson to resign. I know what you’re probably thinking. Anyone who’s been following American politics at all for the last three years knows that Democrats calling for someone in the Trump administration to resign basically means it’s another day ending in a Y. But this dust-up has at least a bit of a twist to it.During a HUD staff meeting in San Francisco, Carson was addressing the staff and dropped a comment regarding transgender individuals. He included the phrase “big hairy men†entering women’s shelters...

***SNIP*** "Your letter seeks federal dollars for California from hardworking American taxpayers but fails to admit that your State and local policies have played a major role in the current crisis," Sec. Carson wrote in a letter responding to the leaders. ***SNIP*** The letter also blames California's sanctuary policies, saying "illegal and inadmissible aliens are increasing housing demand and draining resources," and says the Trump administration is addressing the problem by improving border security to reduce drug use. "The Trump administration is doing its part," Carson writes in the final part of the letter. "California needs to address the obvious...

The New York Times referred to Jill Biden as a ‘doctor’ three times more than Ben Carson, according to the Weekly Standard. Jill Biden, Vice President Joe Biden’s wife, has a doctorate in education. Republican presidential candidate Ben Carson was the first neurosurgeon to successfully separate conjoined twins. The Weekly Standard writes: Through last night, Nexis results show Ben Carson’s name has appeared in The New York Times 373 times: 356 times as Ben Carson and 17 times as Benjamin Carson. On first reference (that is, the first time he is named in the story) he has been referred to...

The Congressional Hispanic Caucus is attacking President Donald Trump, blaming him for “fear-mongering” that is causing illegal alien women to cancel their abortions. A recent report by Buzzfeed News detailed how illegal alien women across the southwest are canceling or skipping out on their abortion procedures for fear of being deported from the U.S. Buzzfeed reporters spoke to executives at four abortion clinics, writing that obtaining an abortion for an illegal alien woman is “even more frightening and challenging when you have to cross state lines knowing ICE officers are being stationed on streets and highways.” In response, the Hispanic...

The last time Nashville’s mayor’s office made national news - a scant seventeen months ago - then mayor Megan Barry resigned after pleading guilty to felony theft relating to an extramarital affair she had with the police officer in charge of her security. This time it’s for a better reason. After David Briley served as interim mayor, a full-term election is now in progress. And that election is being shaken up by Carol Swain, a woman who is - of all things in traditionally Democratic Nashville, a blue stronghold in a red state - a no-holds-barred black, Christian Republican conservative....

Speaking on NBC’s “Meet The Press” on Sunday, Dr. Ben Carson was asked if a president’s religious beliefs mattered. He said they did, and, when pressed on the issue, said no Muslim should be President of the United States (insert Obama joke here) and that, in fact, Islam is in conflict with the U.S. Constitution: Ben Carson: Well I guess it depends on what that faith is. If it is inconsistent with the values and principles of America, then of course it should matter. But, if it fits within the realm of America and consistent with the Constitution, then no...

Appearing as a panel member on Sunday's AM Joy, liberal MSNBC contributor Jason Johnson spewed vitriol at several Donald Trump administration members as he called for the President's impeachment, declared that Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin had essentially been pushed to say "I hate black people," and that HUD Secetary Ben Carson was exposed to be a "sexist fool." Near the end of the show, during the regular "Who Won the Week?" segment, Johnson proclaimed:

"If you go to St Mark's cathedral in Venice, there's a medieval depiction showing people using the three great pyramids of Giza as granaries in Joseph's story," says John Darnell, a professor of Egyptology at Yale University. The belief was also popularised by Saint Gregory of Tours, a sixth century Frankish bishop, who wrote: "They are wide at the base and narrow at the top in order that the wheat might be cast into them through a tiny opening, and these granaries are to be seen to the present day." The Book of John Mandeville, a popular 14th Century travel...

So the left is all abuzz over Ben Carson’s 1998 speech in which he expressed an, admittedly, exotic view on the purpose of Egyptian pyramids. (This is a another hard-hitting click-bait piece by BuzzFeed cub reporter Andrew Kaczynski, so no link because I try not to reward bad behavior.) At the 1998 commencement for Andrews University, a school associated with the Seventh-day Adventist Church, Carson also dismissed the notion that aliens were somehow involved in the construction of the pyramids. “My own personal theory is that Joseph built the pyramids to store grain,†Carson said. “Now all the archeologists think...
