"The Trump administration is doing its part," Carson writes in the final part of the letter. "California needs to address the obvious local issues within its control to help address this catastrophe. When California has shown that it is willing to make hard and thoughtful choices to address these issues, the Trump Administration stands ready to support its efforts."

On another thread on another subject I noted that the COUNTER OFFENSIVE has begun. I believe this is just part of it.
President Trump has up to now allowed the rogue states (and cities) to ignore Federal Law. Before he can really get tough he needs to prepare the battle field. He needs even the citizens in California on his side.
The message in the letter is not just directed toward California, but every major city that refuses to help in controlling the illegal invasion of our nation.
