“Baby Bernie,” the cheerful infant who won the affections of people of all political stripes after his mom posted photos of him greeting Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders in a white-haired wig and over-sized glasses, has died at the age of 4 months. Oliver Jack Carter Lomas-Davis of Los Angeles died Feb. 25. His aunt Anastasia Lomas told The Associated Press on Thursday the cause was Sudden Infant Death Syndrome. The “Baby Bernie” nickname came after Oliver’s mother, Susan Lomas, posted pictures on Facebook and Twitter of the baby and Sanders meeting.
