MARTINEZ - Police have arrested convicted sex offender Cary Verse on suspicion on violating the conditions of his release, authorities said. Walnut Creek Police arrested 36-year-old Cary Verse at 2 p.m. on Saturday, a spokesman at the County Jail said. Verse has lived on the Bay Point property of two defense attorneys since February 2005. Under the conditions of his release from Atascadero State Mental Hospital in 2004, he may leave his home for work and to see friends and therapists, only during authorized times and in the company of authorized people.
