John Kerry (news - web sites) ended his presidential campaign with more than $15 million in the bank, money that could have helped Democratic candidates across the country. Especially those people who cannot defend their actions. So they resort to name-calling, screaming, twisted logic, righteous indignation and even violence. That's what's been happening in Somerville and Medford over the past few weeks. Carl Sciortino was able to squeak by Rep. Vinnie Ciampa in the primary with the help of hundreds of thousands of dollars from state and national gay groups. They supplied campaign workers who came here from across the Northeast,...

=== 1. DiMasi to meet with constituents at State House on Tuesday evening. === As you know, Rep. Salvatore DiMasi, the Majority Leader of the House, has been holding the Commonwealth of Massachusetts (and the rest of America) hostage by ordering the chairman of the Rules Committee, Angelo Scaccia, to keep it bottled up. (And Scaccia, formerly a strong pro-family advocate, has put politics ahead of principle and is following orders.) DiMasi has agreed to meet with constituents at his office (State House, Room 370) on Tuesday evening, June 1, at 6:00 pm. If you can get there, and live...
