The NBC project would document Rancic's year working for Donald Trump, overseeing the construction of a 90-story Trump International Hotel and Tower on the site of the Chicago Sun-Times building (where Rancic may soon move into his very own office alongside the Trump Tower sales force and residential unit model). Burnett also hinted that former contestants from "The Apprentice" might be hired as Rancic's employees, and that Trump would be demanding regular progress reports.
