With what transpired yesterday with Apple, Google, and Twitter actively trying to censor conservative, maybe we all need to dump the stock we hold in these companies. I am considering dumping my iPhone for a Samsung. Of course, once Burden takes office the Chinese phones will hit the market here and Apple will be displaced in the market.

By now, Monday’s massive Google outage is history for most people. While it was a minor inconvenience for some, with most Google services being down for hours on end, it was a much larger pain in the electronic ass for the tragically hip who have surrendered their “smart” homes to Google. In fact, of the services that went down, it was Google Home users who were literally left in the dark during the outage on Monday, RT notes. As a result, “smart home” users were complaining about not being able to perform once-simple tasks at their homes – like turning...

Apple disappointed Wall Street in October when it reported a 20% drop in YOY iPhone revenue during its Q4 (remember, Apple runs on its own quarterly timeline) earnings report, something management tried to dismiss as simply a lull before the 5G upgrade "supercycle" was unleashed by the iPhone 12 generation of phones. As Tim Cook has been saying for years now, Apple is no longer all about the iPhone. Fruity cargo cult Apple has been hit by another child labour scandal, this time involving its Pegatron supplier. The Financial Times discovered that Pegatron used thousands of student interns working overtime to assemble iPhones in breach of Chinese law. The Tame Apple Press has been doing its best to make Apple appear the good guy in the scandal saying that Jobs’ Mob had “reprimanded” Pegatron. After being contacted by the FT, Apple said it had stopped giving "new business" to Pegatron, its second-largest iPhone assembler after Foxconn. Strangely though, Pegatron does not appear to have received the memo and workers...

Google’s high-handed tactics with US regulators have come back to haunt it, with critics saying the tech giant set the stage for a dramatic showdown with the Department of Justice nearly a decade ago. The DOJ last week sued Google, accusing it of using anti-competitive tactics to maintain its search engine’s dominance over rivals. The focus of the suit — massive cash payments to smartphone makers like Apple and Samsung to make Google’s search engine the default option on their devices — is a fresh one. But industry sources say the Silicon Valley giant has nevertheless made itself vulnerable to...
