Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez did not take kindly to Vice President Mike Pence referencing her and her famous moniker during Wednesday night’s vice presidential debate with Sen. Kamala Harris. While discussing differences between the Biden-Harris plan for combating climate change with that of the Green New Deal championed by Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), the vice president pointed out how Harris (D-Calif.) was an original co-sponsor of the bill when it came to the Senate floor.

Kamala Harris, and her running mate, Joe Biden, while watching the VP debate, voicing her disapproval of one of their major climate positions. “Fracking is bad, actually,” Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) tweeted Wednesday evening. The social media post came after Harris (D-Calif.) was pressed by Vice President Mike Pence on whether a Biden administration would ban fracking.

ongresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez appeared on The Rachel Maddow Show Tuesday night where she questioned President Trump’s decision-making abilities while he’s on multiple medications for COVID-19. Trump tested positive late last week, and one of the drugs he’s reportedly taking for treatment is Dexamethasone, which can cause grandiose delusions. “There’s a certain, just basic denial of science, and a lack of acceptance of science that we’re looking at. But you know, additionally, the president is not in a good condition,” AOC said, adding, “I don’t think that we should be making any large political decisions when the president is in such...

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has rebuffed requests to meet with New York’s prominent Jewish leaders. The heads of both the Jewish Community Relations Council and the New York Board of Rabbis said they’ve sought sit-downs with the first-term “Democratic socialist” congresswoman — to no avail. “I requested a meeting with her and it has not come to fruition,” JCRC executive director Michael Miller told The Post. “A meeting has been requested on more than one occasion. It hasn’t happened. I’m still interested in meeting with her.”

Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., is none too pleased with the direction of Joe Biden's bid for the White House. According to a report from earlier this month, Sen. Sanders has privately criticized the Democratic presidential nominee for being too moderate and failing to emphasize the progressive policies at the heart of his campaign. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., echoed Sanders's concerns in a recent interview. This supposed flap between Biden and some of his party's progressive luminaries is about style rather than substance. The former vice president's proposed policy agenda is further to the left than any Democratic nominee in American...

HOUSTON – Houston Mayor Sylvester Turner signed an Executive Order Monday authorizing a cite-and-release program for certain low-level, non-violent offenses, allowing officers to issue tickets for some Class A and B misdemeanors, instead of making an arrest. The policy change will go into effect Tuesday at 6 a.m. “The cite-and-release program has been implemented in other cities where it has helped to reduce jail population,” Turner said in a press conference Monday. He added that the move would “improve response times by getting officers back into service, more quickly.” “Cite-and-release is a more humane method of dealing with low-level offenders...

During Tuesday night’s debate, Biden insisted he was in charge of the Democratic Party, but his evasions tell a different story. In an exchange about health care during Tuesday night’s presidential debate, former Vice President Joe Biden declared, “I am the Democratic Party!” He was responding to President Trump’s claim that Democrats want “socialist medicine,” a Trumpian but mostly accurate characterization of where most Democrats are on health care. Biden vehemently denied it, saying he’s not for getting rid of private health insurance. But beyond the question of health care, Biden’s claim of ownership over the Democratic Party stood out Tuesday...

New York Democrat Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is urging Empire State lawmakers to raise taxes, despite opposition from Gov. Andrew Cuomo. Ocasio-Cortez called on Cuomo and New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio to increase rates as the state battles a massive coronavirus-induced multi-billion-dollar budget hole. “I’m calling on Mayor de Blasio and Gov. Cuomo to raise revenue to fund universal child-care programs, significantly increase staffing at schools and fund the infrastructure improvements, including ventilation, that our school buildings need to be safe,” Ocasio-Cortez said in a statement obtained by The New York Post on Wednesday.

Ever since lockdown began, brunch has been getting a bad rap. There’s this idea that brunch — that lazy, boozy, breakfasty weekend meal — is a shallow, stupid, entitled exercise in unearned privilege. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez sure thinks so. Speaking to viewers, the Democratic congresswoman from New York said with a smile, “I’m sorry to tell you you’re not going back to brunch, we’re not going back to brunch. That’s not happening.” What she’s missing is that gathering with friends and breaking bread is the basis of all of our most important traditions, in every religion and in all our...

The NYPD cop charged with spying for China raised alarms at a Tibetan New Year party that he attended in uniform — and where he was photographed sitting next to US Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, The Post has learned. A former president of the Tibetan Community of NY & NJ said the group became suspicious of Officer Baimadajie Angwang, 33, and “cut off the relationship” with him following the event at its community center in Woodside, Queens, last year. Sonam Gyephel declined to say precisely what alerted members to the since-disgraced cop, who’s accused of gathering intelligence on fellow Tibetans at...

he Democratic Socialists of America are rising in power and influence as Congresswoman Alexandra Ocasio-Cortez is not only a member but throwing congressional support behind them as well. They have set their sights on rapidly crumbling New York City, the newest third world nation, and if New Yorkers are careless with their votes this year, they just may get it. Saul Alinsky has been dead and burning the the flames of Hell since 1972, but his dream of the Marxist takeover he fantasied about in ‘Rules For Radicals’ is now beginning to come true. ‘Rules For Radicals’ is a scary...

Nancy Pelosi and Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez have hinted impeachment would be considered as a weapon to halt President Trump from filling a Supreme Court vacancy. The vacancy arose following the passing of Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg on Friday. Trump has vowed to nominate an individual to fill her seat while Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) announced the nominee “will receive a vote on the floor of the United States Senate.” House Speaker Pelosi (D-CA) and AOC (D-NY) demonstrated that they are in lockstep in trying to stop the Presidential’s Constitutional duty to select a replacement. They’ve even...

@YALibertyAOC says impeachment is once again "on the table." Regardless of where you stand politically, impeachment was never intended to be a political weapon that could be wielded when a president does something the opposing party doesn't like. This is a very dangerous road to go down. Video...

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s Democratic socialists brigade wants to turn New York City far-left — from the ground up. The Democratic Socialists of America-NYC is pushing to put up or back a slate of City Council candidates who, if elected, would create a “socialist caucus.” The overwhelmingly Democratic council is vulnerable next year to the left-of-left push with 35 out of 51 council seats up for grabs due to term limits. Only 16 council members can run for re-election. The strategy is detailed in a 13-page “tasks and perspectives” strategic planning document that will be reviewed by DSA members this week....

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) and Sen. Charles Schumer (D-N.Y.) on Sunday called for voters to fight against the confirmation of President Trump's Supreme Court nominee, speaking at a joint media event called to discuss the death of Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg. "Call you senator and tell them not to listen to Mitch McConnell, not to be afraid of Mitch McConnell, to stand up and do the right thing," Schumer said, referencing Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell's (R-Ky.) plans to hold a vote to confirm Trump's nominee to replace Ginsburg. Ginsburg died Friday due to complications of metastatic pancreas...

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez said the death of Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg should “radicalize” Democrats ahead of November’s election. "Let this moment radicalize you," the freshman representative said in a Friday night Instagram Live video. “Let this moment really put everything into stark focus because this election has always been about the fight of and for our lives. And if anything, tonight is making that more clear to more people than ever before.” Ocasio-Cortez urged viewers to check and update their voter registration and vote for Joe Biden despite progressive disagreements with his policy platform. “Voting for Joe Biden is...

For months, Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden has been performing a political tight-rope walking act, trying to please the far-Left wing of his party while also trying to maintain that he is a middle-of-the road Democrat. To date, Biden has somehow pulled-off this tricky balancing act, mostly due to the fact that his handlers have kept him out of the media spotlight and away from voters as much as possible. However, as the days to the 2020 national election dwindle, it seems that Biden’s far-Left base is becoming more confident they can and will push the former vice president to being...
