NEW YORK, Nov. 2 (UPI) -- Tough-guy actor Robert De Niro is telephoning New Yorkers to remind them to re-elect Democratic Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton next week. The New York Daily News reported Thursday that not only is DeNiro, star of gangster classic "Goodfellas," getting out the vote for Clinton via a recording, but velvet-voiced crooner Tony Bennett also is landing on answering machines in the run-up to the midterm elections.
