Freshman Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) has become an increasingly controversial figure in American politics as evidenced by comments MSNBC’s Chris Matthews made this week comparing Cruz to Nazi sympathizer Father Coughlin. Fox’s Bill O’Reilly laid into Matthews last night for equating his “black Irish” looks with Cruz’s and today Megyn Kelly picked up the thread by asking what it is about the senator that makes liberals so angry. Conservative radio host Mike Gallagher said people are only attacking Cruz because he’s “effective.” He said people are “impressed” with the “tea party darling” who “rose out of nowhere” and used this...

VIDEO: On this morning’s America Live with Megyn Kelly, Colmes, now a sporadic FOX News commentator, and author of the 2012 mega-flop, Thank the Liberals For Saving America (Colmes may currently be re-evaluating the validity of this title), appeared with popular conservative radio talk-show host, Lars Larson to discuss the latest revelations about the Obama regime’s epidemic, unconstitutional, (formerly) secret spy program...

Fox News Host Bill O’Reilly apologized on Thursday night for calling the network’s liberal commentator Alan Colmes a liar earlier in the week for saying that President Barack Obama made specific suggestions to cut entitlement programs. “Even though I’m sorry I said Alan was lying, I should not have used that word, I’m glad the exposition occurred,” O’Reilly said during his introductory monologue on the 8 p.m. show “Talking Points.” …

George W. Bush wins the 2000 Presidential Election by (in essence) 537 votes; Fox News goes to #1 in the cable news race a few months later. Bush narrowly beats John Kerry in 2004. Not surprisingly, Fox is still #1, and by a wider margin. Barack Obama soundly defeats John McCain in 2008; Fox is still #1 by a Secretariat-esque margin. Mr. Obama decisively beats Mitt Romney four months ago; Regardless of which party holds executive power, Fox is still decimating the competition, albeit by a slightly smaller-than-usual margin. Sure, MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow and Lawrence O’Donnell are periodically beating Sean...

Did anyone just see this? I thought O'Reilly was going to reach across the table and strangle him. He called Colmes a liar and said he could not provide one program that Obama said he would cut. This was crazy!

n his Tuesday show, Fox News Channel’s “The O’Reilly Factor” host Bill O’Reilly unloaded on his show regular Alan Colmes for being unable and unwilling to name a specific program President Barack Obama would cut, other than the entitlement programs like Medicare, Medicaid and Social Security. Colmes attempted to make his case, but the harder he tried, the more heated the discussion became: COLMES: I disagree with what he is being said here. dollar. $2.50 in tax cuts for every dollar in tax increases. O’REILLY: That’s not specific. COLMES: Yes, he has. He has offered cuts in Medicare. He has...

January 15, 2013 ALAN COLMES’S LIPS ARE SO DAMN SWOLLEN IT’S UNBELIEVABLE Eddie Scarry On Fox News’ The O’Reilly Factor tonight, liberal commentator Alan Colmes showed up on set looking particularly puffy in the lips. After joking that he was punched in the face, he says the swelling is a result of simply falling over. “I fell,” he said. Ok… .Bonus photo...

Even liberal commentator Alan Colmes expressed outrage about Longoria’s actions and recommended that she resign or be fired from the Obama campaign. If a campaign co-chair acts like a fool, it is no wonder that so many Obama supporters are acting in an overly emotional and irrational way in the final days of the race. It is time for the adults in the Obama campaign to restore calm among their ranks; otherwise it could get very ugly very quickly.

After re-tweeting a tweet that declared as "stupid" any and all minorities and women who support a "racist/misogynist twat" named Mitt Romney, and then attempting to cover it up Anthony Weiner-style with a bizarre tweet blaming Twitter for "things in my timeline" -- actress and Obama campaign co-chair Eva Longoria is now learning something about accountability. This morning, Longoria was forced to tweet out an apology. Now her resignation from the Obama campaign has been called for. For high-profile Obama supporter, Alan Colmes, it looks as though Longoria's apology was too little and way too late. Today on Fox News,...

This absolutely sickens me. It is the lowest of the low. Liberal Alan Colmes mocks Rick Santorum for treating his dead son with dignity. Colmes was suggesting that voters would shun Santorum once they “get a load of some of the crazy things he’s said and done, like taking his two-hour-old baby when it died right after child birth home and played with it so that his other children would know that the child was real." Notice the word "it." Colmes said the Santorum's took "it" home. My goodness, even a child that is born is still an "it"...

I don't see how one could come to any other conclusion when reading this piece from Mediaite about a confrontation between NRO's Rich Lowrey and the liberal pundit. The imbroglio erupted when Colmes said that Iowans would get off the Santorum bandwagon once they discovered some of the "crazy things" he's said and done. The segment was pegged to Santorum's polling surge in Iowa, which Colmes argued wouldn't last "once they get a load of some of the crazy things he's said and done, like taking his two-hour-old baby who died after childbirth and played with it

As NewsBusters previously reported, Sam Donaldson on Sunday's "This Week" actually thanked the anti-American television network Al Jazeera for what they do in the Middle East. On Tuesday, Fox News's Bill O'Reilly invited Alan Colmes and Monica Crowley on his program to discuss the matter, and by the end of the segment, O'Reilly was practically screaming at Sean Hannity's former partner.

During this heated discussion Alan Colmes says, and has been saying for years, that Enhanced Interregation Techniques (EIT) yield nothing. He also states that Donald Rumsfeld confirms this. An hour later on Hannity, Rumsfeld says that just is not true.

FNC’s Colmes: ‘Tea Party Was a Bunch of Angry White Guys’ with ‘Racist Signs’ By Brad Wilmouth Created 01/01/2011 - 7:06pm By Brad Wilmouth | January 01, 2011 | 19:06 On Saturday’s Fox News Watch, liberal FNC analyst Alan Colmes asserted that the Tea Party was a "bunch of angry white guys who went around and put up racist signs." As a debate ensued pitting Colmes against the other three panel members, he later defiantly asked, "How many blacks did they elect?" leading Jim Pinkerton of the New America Foundation to fire back: "The Tea Partiers elected two - Allen...

National Review Editor Rich Lowry and Liberal commentator Alan Colmes clashed on Fox News Monday when Lowry interjected to rebuke Colmes’ criticism of the way Republican presidential candidate Rick Santorum and his wife handled the death of their infant newborn Gabriel, who lived for only two hours in 1996. “I even think some of the dastardly characters we have in the main stream media are not going to go as low as you just have Alan,” Lowry said at one point. The heated rhetoric began early on in the segment when Colmes said undecided voters will ultimately not stick with...

Liberal talk show host Alan Colmes sunk to new a new low when he said on Fox News that former Pennsylvania Senator Rick Santorum took his deceased baby home to 'play with it.' Noting that the GOP has "speed-dated" every other candidate, Colmes said voters should "get a load" of what he called the "crazy things" Santorum has said and done. "Like taking his two-hour old baby who died right after childbirth home and played with it for a couple hours so his other children would know it was real, I mean..." At this point, Fox News contributor Rich Lowry...

"Once they get a hold of the crazy things he's said and done like taking his two-hour old baby who died right after childbirth home and played with it for a couple of hours so his other children would know that the child was real," Democratic commentator Alan Colmes said on FOX News today. "That's a cheap shot, Alan. To say it's crazy, something that's that personal and hurtful as losing a child and to mock it like that is beyond the pale and beneath you," Colmes' conservative opponent Rich Lowry said after the personal attack. “I even think some...

The Herman Cain PAC website takes nasty shots at his accusers [saying that] Cain accuser Karen Kraushaar is an “ugly,” “gross” “b1tch,” and that other Cain accuser Sharon Bialek is a “fat bimbo.” In the post about Kraushaar, Herman Cain PAC contributing blogger “MP”—who still might be in middle school—writes, “Ew, gross! Who the hell does this ugly b1tch think she’s fooling?” and then, in reference to the photo, clarifies that Kraushaar is “the one on the left.” The post about Bialek, titled “Gloria Allred has to tell fat bimbo Sharon Bialek to stop giggling at the press conference,” consists...
