MIRAMAR BEACH, Fla. -- Rep. Matt Gaetz defeated Republican challengerAaron Dimmock in Tuesday's Florida primary election. Gaetz earned 70% of the vote to Dimmock's 30%. Gaetz and Dimmock -- a Navy veteran -- took part in contentious election campaigns, where each attacked their opponent's background. Gaetz is eyeing his fifth term in Congress with a win in November.
