Today's Washington Post headline may say that Democrats don't have the votes to pass the Obama "stimulus" package as it is currently written, but what does that really mean? The Senate edition of President Obama's porktacular spending package, now dangling a $900 billion price tag, may be the proverbial "mugging" that some liberals need to get them to think more like conservatives - that is, if there is any truth to the reports that support for the bill is eroding a bit.While I'd love to believe that there are, in fact, Senate Democrats who can't swallow the prodigious amount of wasteful spending in this bill, I remain, at best, cautious.
