5 EYEWITNESS NEWS has learned from a source that the members of the 82nd Airborne Division, based at Fort Bragg, North Carolina, have been put on standby to deploy in Minnesota. The soldiers have been told to not bring their weapons with them on this potential mission. It remains unclear when they would be ordered into the air, but this standby order makes them available to come in on an immediate basis.
