The German Defense Ministry announced on Friday that it will deliver two Patriot launchers to Ukraine in the coming days, followed by additional components in the next two to three months. The surface-to-air missile system is made in the United States and Germany has been in talks with the Trump administration for its purchase to boost Ukraine's air defense. "Highly efficient air defense systems like the PATRIOT system are in short supply, and the production of some components takes years. Germany has already delivered three systems to Ukraine, which play an important role in Ukraine's air defense," the ministry said....

The GOP infighting on Capitol Hill has expanded to an unusual place: Israel. For years, GOP leaders have used U.S. support for Israel as a wedge to highlight the stark divisions among Democrats, pitting Israel’s staunchest allies against pro-Palestinian liberals and challenging Democratic leaders to ease the tensions. Republicans, through it all, were virtually united on the issue. Yet Israel’s long-running war against Hamas in Gaza, where the Palestinian death toll has topped 60,000 and recent images of starving children have prompted a global outcry, is now creating headaches for GOP leaders, as well. While a vast majority of congressional...

Former Vice President Kamala Harris bemoaned Thursday in an interview with soon-to-be axed lefty talk show host Stephen Colbert that the American political system is “broken” and suggested she wouldn’t embark on a third White House run after her landslide loss to President Trump. Harris, who announced Wednesday that she wouldn’t be running for California governor in 2026, was asked by “The Late Show” host – in her first post-election interview – if she was perhaps interested in a “different office.” “No … it’s perhaps more basic than that,” Harris responded. “Recently I made the decision that I just, for...

snip- TRUMP ADMIN STANDS BY ISRAEL, REJECTS UN RESOLUTION BACKED BY UK AND FRANCE (https://www.foxnews.com/world/trump-admin-stands-israel-rejects-un-resolution-backed-uk-france) Israel, however, did not respond well to the declaration, saying it would not back down from its goal of eliminating Hamas. "No token recognition and no U.N. resolution will change the basic fact that there are those in the world who fight terrorists and extremist forces and then there are those who turn a blind eye to them or resort to appeasement," Israeli U.N. Ambassador Danny Danon said in a statement. "We will do whatever is necessary to bring home the hostages and defeat Hamas."...

Hiya kids! Hiya, Hiya!Good Morning Crypto-FReepers.I see some of the same old faces out there. My goodness, you might have thought I did unspeakable horrors to you when I submitted a Mozart motet 2 weeks ago. Did any of you read my HINTS? There was NEVER any need to translate from the Latin in which the hymn was written. All you needed was "Mozart," the year of his death (1791) and the first word "Ave" (actually the letter "a" would suffice.) That would have given you the whole answer. It also would have given you the Engish translation. I gave you...

The family of one of the Cincinnati brawlers claimed the only reason the fight has garnered so much attention was because the person punched in the face is a white woman. Jermaine Matthews, 39, and Montianez Merriweather, 34, were initially charged with aggravated riot and assault after the massive brawl in the streets of Cincinnati, Ohio, went viral this week. Matthews, however, was hit with three more charges on Thursday - two felonious assault and one assault charge. Outside of court, two relatives of Merriweather told WLWT that the race of the victims had catapulted the case to national attention....

When it comes to the C-suite, Gen X might be doomed to live up to its “forgotten generation” moniker. More baby boomers are working past traditional retirement ages. By the time they are ready to pass the torch, millennials will be reaching for it. This is already happening at more companies. In the Russell 3000, 41.5% of chief executives are at least 60 years old, up from 35.1% in 2017. Over the same period, the share of CEOs in their 30s and 40s has grown to 15.1% from 13.8%, according to research by the Conference Board and ESGAUGE. That leaves...

Just as there are natural laws and natural forces there are spiritual laws and forces. Notice, those forces do things, they are designed to do things. If you jump up what will happen, you will come back down. Because, there is a force of gravity that is designed to pull you back down. There is a law and force of gravity by which a planet or other body draws objects toward its center. But, even though it's a law and force of gravity there is a higher law and a greater force called lift. That's how air planes can stay...

The Iowa Board of Regents in November 2023 also directed universities to abolish all “diversity, equity, and inclusion” initiatives at public universities. But an undercover video obtained by Fox News shows Drea Tinoco, assistant director for Leadership and Student Organization Development at the University of Iowa,...
