Some colleges and universities in the United States have been struggling with student performance, particularly since they began spending more time protesting Israel or the police than on the classes they signed up for. And the DEI push concerning who does or doesn't get admitted isn't helping either. But no school wants to go public and say that they are graduating a bunch of sub-par students, right? Western Oregon University has joined the ranks of those who are finding creative solutions to these challenges. They will simply no longer issue failing grades to anyone such as "D-" or "F." They...

This has to be incredibly frustrating for so-called "far right" Dutch politician Geert Wilders, whose party won a surprise quarter of the vote in the recent Dutch elections, earning him the right to form the next government. It also has to be infuriating for Dutch voters who chose right-wing and centrist parties to represent them as they vanquished their unpopular and seemingly entrenched government.Far-right Dutch leader Geert Wilders' bid to form a government appears to be stumbling just days before a key deadline, as potential coalition partners squabble over fiscal and immigration policy.Wilders stunned the Netherlands and Europe by storming...

It was predictable for months and desired by many Republicans to toss Republican National Committee Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel for someone else, but who remained a mystery until Tuesday. McDaniel, 50, is the daughter of Scott Romney, the older brother of Senator Mitt Romney (R-Utah), and the granddaughter of the late three-term moderate Republican Governor George W. Romney of Michigan. McDaniel is reportedly planning to step down after her poor fundraising efforts for the GOP. McDaniel has told former President Donald Trump that she will step down after the South Carolina GOP primary on February 24.

Tuesday, former South Carolina Governor and United Nations Ambassador Nikki Haley is set to sweep the Presidential Preference Primary (PPP) in Nevada, clinching an outright win. Former President Donald Trump's name is not printed on the ballot for the state-run primary at all. While Haley will likely ride the momentum of a purported victory, she won't exactly strike gold in the Silver State. At the Republican National Convention, Haley will not be awarded any of the 26 delegates from Nevada. Instead, the delegates will be awarded through caucuses run by the Nevada Republican Party on Thursday. By this method, Trump...

As we reported earlier, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit ruled against former President Donald Trump in his appeal on presidential immunity from prosecution. The three-judge panel affirmed the ruling of the District Court in the matter. The appeal delayed the start of the election interference case that had been set for March 4. Now, it should be noted that even though the ruling went against Trump, just the filing of it bought him some time, as George Washington law professor Jonathan Turley explained.“The most practical impact of this appeal was indeed the delay that...

I think a co-chairmanship of Scott Presler and Harmeet Dhillon would be best. She could do the fundraising and he could continue his voter registration operations except now with the support of the official GOP. Do you have any preferences?

Paul Mann received chemotherapy and radiation treatments for metastatic prostate cancer. “It was just so hard,” he said. “Then I thought, I can’t give up. I have it written on my arm that I won’t.” He took ivermectin and supplements after traditional care and is in remission. (Photos from Paul Mann) After ten rounds of radiation and six of chemotherapy, Paul Mann, fifty-five years old, wanted to know his chances. “You’re squeaking by day to day,” his doctor told him. Canada's Federal Court has overturned a Colorado woman's refugee status after she claimed asylum from the US based on her gender identity. Transgender woman Daria Bloodworth gained refugee status in Canada after successfully arguing that a combination of gun culture and rising transphobia put her at risk in America, CBC News reported. Bloodworth, 36, told the the Refugee Appeal Division in 2019 that she had been stalked by her college roommate who she alleged had threatened her with a gun. Bloodworth, who is now studying biological sciences at Yukon University, claimed she was the target of threats and violence from...

Three explosions rocked the Swedish capital of Stockholm over just a four-day period as the country is coming off a record year for gang-related bombings. After a few months of relative calm, gang wars in the Nordic nation once again appear to be on the rise, as three explosions at residential buildings in Stockholm have been seen since Friday when a large blast went off at an apartment in Sundbyberg where a man with ties to a criminal gang lives. This was followed by an explosion on Saturday outside a hair salon in the industrial area of Vällingby. Finally, on...

TAIPEI -- Japan's efforts to lure global chipmakers are bearing fruit as Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co. announces plans to construct a second plant in the country, drawn by generous subsidies and cheaper costs compared with the U.S. and Europe. The planned factory in Kumamoto prefecture announced Tuesday will produce 6-nanometer chips, the most advanced semiconductors to be made in Japan. Investments in the new plant are expected to surpass those for TSMC's first in Kumamoto. Toyota Motor and Sony Group are among the companies expected to receive chips from the second plant. Toyota is investing in TSMC's Japanese subsidiary to...

Luke 21:34 “…and that this day will not come on you suddenly, like a trap [snare]; 35 for it will come upon all those who live on the face of all the earth. 36 But stay alert at all times, praying that you will have strength to escape all these things that are going to take place, and to stand before the Son of Man.”Escape! This is Jesus Christ’s last message to his larger group of followers, including us. He calls us to have the strength to escape. Escape from what? Escape from the snares drawing the world into judgment....

Below is my column in The Hill on the worsening situation at the Southern border and how the Supreme Court laid the seeds for this crisis over a decade ago. The courts have left few options for either the states or Congress in compelling the enforcement of federal law. Here is the column: The upcoming impeachment vote on Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas has caused a deep rift even among his critics, including some Republican members of Congress. Many view Mayorkas as an unmitigated disaster as Homeland secretary. The massive numbers of migrants crossing the border has become a growing...

Former President Trump urged his followers to give Anheuser-Busch a “second chance” after months of criticism the company has faced from conservatives. “The Bud Light ad was a mistake of epic proportions,” Trump wrote on his Truth Social website Tuesday, referencing a brief partnership the company had with transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney that has cost it billions in market value. “Anheuser-Busch is not a Woke company,” the former president said, adding “I can give you plenty that are, am building a list, and might just release it for the World to see.” “Anheuser-Busch is a Great American Brand that perhaps...

Former New York Republican Rep. George Santos on Tuesday gloated over his former colleagues in the House GOP after the vote to impeach Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas narrowly failed. The final tally was 214-216, though Rep. Blake Moore, R-Utah, changed his vote to allow Republicans to bring the measure up again at a later date. Santos, for his part, posted an image of the House floor with the vote tally at 215-215 with the caption "Miss me yet?" Had Santos still been in Congress, his vote could have proved decisive. Russia’s foreign ministry said on Tuesday that it had informed Israeli Ambassador Simona Halperin of its “negative reaction” to criticisms of Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and Russian policy in the Middle East made by the diplomat. The Israeli envoy was summoned to the foreign ministry earlier on Tuesday, a day after Russian authorities lashed out over what they called “unacceptable comments” made by the ambassador in an interview with Russian newspaper Kommersant published on Sunday. Halperin told the paper that Lavrov played down the importance of the Holocaust and and said Russia was too friendly with the Palestinian Islamist terror...
