The president and first lady Jill Biden also posed for a group picture with Balefsky and her friends at the restaurant, which serves $42 ravioli and $69 lamb. 'The President crashed my birthday dinner but it's still my day,' Balefsky captioned the...

The Senate enacted new dress rules for members, essentially endorsing "come as you are dress rules". Cro-Magnon Pa. Senator John Fetterman tested those new rules today showing up in a jockstrap, chest hairs braided into cornrows, and smoking a crack pipe. Senator John stated that this is how he rolls at home and he doesn't feel that he should alter his lifestyle for a bunch of old white guys. A few fellow Senators were aghast at his appearance but others led by Liz Warren were questioning his insensitive cultural appropriation of "cornrows" while others asked which professional did the braiding....

Joe Biden has reached his expiration date, and the Deep State is preparing to dump him in the compost pile. In a newly released study conducted by the RAND Corporation and funded by a host of entities related to the congressional–military intelligence–industrial complex, researchers posed this question: "Could Dementia in the National Security Workforce Create a Security Threat?" Now, whom in the world do these researchers have in mind? Let's just throw out a hypothetical: could a person with cognitive function so severely diminished that he regresses to a toddler-like state and poops his pants ahead of diplomatic talks, and...

Cancer patients appeared to benefit from natural killer cells obtained from donors in an experimental method of treating cancer that involved an aggressive army endowed with the ability to home in on malignant cells and destroy them. The natural killer cells were pre-treated with nicotinamide, a compound widely known to most people as niacin, or vitamin B3. It's a substance with a special affinity for natural killer cells. The innovative approach boosted the impact of natural killer cells and brought about remissions in patients with otherwise recalcitrant cancers. "We conducted a first-in-human phase 1 clinical trial testing adoptive transfer of...

The Biden administration wants to make it difficult for future Republican presidents to decrease the size of the federal bureaucracy. What is the background? Most career federal civil servants are competitive service employees hired under a merit-based system typical of the nongovernment marketplace. They receive tremendous employee rights against demotion or termination. Excepted service employees, on the other hand, work jobs requiring specialized qualifications or skills, such as in law enforcement, intelligence, science, and the law. However, excepted employees do not receive the same job protections as their competitive service counterparts unless they meet strict criteria. In 2020, then-President Donald...

Luke 7:1-10Friends, in today’s Gospel, Jesus is amazed at a Roman centurion’s faith: “I tell you, not even in Israel have I found such faith.” How often the Bible compels us to meditate on the meaning of faith! We might say that the Scriptures rest upon faith, remain inspired at every turn by the spirit of faith.Faith is an attitude of trust in the presence of God. Faith is openness to what God will reveal, do, and invite. It should be obvious that, in dealing with the infinite, all-powerful person who is God, we are never in control. One of...

Carlos Campos came to Miami from Venezuela in 1979, before dictator Hugo Chávez’s socialist revolution brought about the unraveling of the oil-rich country. But it wasn’t until 2016 that Campos became actively engaged in US politics. Donald Trump’s “America First” message stirred something in him. Sitting down at a Cuban restaurant just minutes from the Trump National Doral golf resort — one of the former president’s major Miami-area properties aside from his Mar-a-Lago estate — Campos described how he came to the realization that his values aligned more closely with Republicans than Democrats. He attends Alpha & Omega, a Spanish-language...

The Bush family cartel and their cabal of RINO operatives and donors in Texas are pulling out the big guns to support Ron DeSantis's 2024 opposition Presidential campaign against Donald Trump. Ron DeSantis is holding a fundraiser in Houston, Texas on September 20th at the home of Dr. Riva Collins and Ira Mitzner. HUGER, SC — A team of Marines was seen trudging through the woods, stopping every 30 feet to wave a key fob around in a 90° arc, say campers at Francis Marion National Forest. The Marines, who traveled in a tactical column, were allegedly on a mission to locate, close with, and recover the F-35 fighter jet that went missing Sunday evening. "No contact," [redacted] whispered after stopping to listen for the 249th time. Several years ago, another dad reached out to me after reading my work about being a stay-at-home dad. He was married, had two toddlers and was not coping well. He couldn’t find another person to talk to outside his family. He didn’t say it, because most of us men won’t, but fatherhood was taking a toll on his mental health and self-worth. He felt alone — but not because he didn’t have a good relationship with his significant other. He told me it was because he didn’t have friends. We hear a lot these days about men not finding the...

He also declined to say if he believes unborn babies have a constitutional right to life...

On Monday’s broadcast of CNBC’s “Squawk on the Street,” Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen responded to what action the Biden administration could take to combat rising oil prices by stating that they’ll keep watching the situation, but they expect the prices to “stabilize.” Co-host Sara Eisen asked, “I’m wondering how you’re thinking about the gas price move, a big jump in the month of August. Crude is back above $90 per barrel. The Saudis are extending the production cuts through the end of the year. Are you looking at taking any action on this front?” Yellen answered, “Well, the president wants...

Tim Ballard’s exit from Operation Underground Railroad earlier this year followed an investigation into claims of sexual misconduct involving seven women, according to sources with direct knowledge of the organization. Sources familiar with the situation said that the self-styled anti-slavery activist, who appears to be preparing for a Senate run, invited women to act as his “wife” on undercover overseas missions ostensibly aimed at rescuing victims of sex trafficking. He would then allegedly coerce those women into sharing a bed or showering together, claiming that it was necessary to fool traffickers. Ballard, who was played by Jim Caviezel in the...
