RUSH: You know, I’ve been looking at all this news over the weekend about Crazy Bernie and the Democrats, and there’s people writing columns about, “Oh, my God. The whole Democrat Party has gone socialist.” Really? What was your first clue? I’ve been trying to tell people what the Democrat Party is and how long it’s been that way, and so has Ronaldus Magnus. You go back, look at Ronald Reagan’s radio commentaries that he wrote and delivered, over 300 of them, he’s been warning about Bernie Sanders for I don’t know how many years, 50 or 60 at least....

It seems that the world is fighting two fronts on the spread of the novel coronavirus: On the medical front and the misinformation front, which could lead to more people getting infected. A disturbing number of people already think that you get coronavirus by drinking Corona Beer.We could all use a little less fear-mongering and fake news about the deadly virus, but some information is so convincing they seem true. Below are some of the misinformation being circulated on social media.  1| Gargling salt water can help prevent the spread of coronavirus. It might alleviate halitosis to some extent, but rinsing...

RUSH: There is a verdict in the Harvey Weinstein — or a series of verdicts. Now, Harvey showed up today at court for the reading of the verdicts, as he has every day, shows up with a walker, barely able to move, little blue pills are falling out of his pockets, and the lawyers are behind him and making him look like he is an invalid. And, of course… (interruption) What? (interruption) Well, I mean, the poor guy can barely move. (interruption) We are supposed to conclude that Harvey couldn’t be guilty because, if he can’t stand up straight, what...

The Ninth Circuit has been known as a bastion of liberal activism for years. It was perhaps the best example of everything that President Donald Trump was elected to try to correct, with a return to what the Court is actually supposed to be doing, adhering to the Constitution and not to political activism.

The Coronavirus is here and the first thing to do is to take reasonable precautions to prevent infection starting with the simple step of declining to shake hands with everyone. Just say NO!! But at home you do need to be reasonably ready for the possibility that you may be quarantined yourself or that your city/town might be isolated for as much as eight weeks. FEMA has a great list to start with and you can find it here: https://www.fema.gov/media-library-data/1390846764394-dc08e309debe561d866b05ac84daf1ee/checklist_2014.pdf The LDS also have a useful list of things to store up on and it's a good list to check...

The Silver Star Families of America, the SSFOA, is well aware of the dangers of opioids in all their various forms and, for the most part, agrees with the new federal and state guidelines that are tightening up the distribution of the drugs as long as it does not adversely affect the veteran population. https://www.cdc.gov/mmwr/volumes/65/rr/rr6501e1.htm

Bernie Sanders, the clear front-runner for the Democratic presidential nomination, was asked over the weekend how much his various plans would cost if implemented. He didn't know Here's the exchange between Sanders and Anderson Cooper on "60 Minutes": Cooper: Do you know how all -- how much though? I mean, do you have a price tag for -- for all of this? Sanders: We do. I mean, you know, and -- and-- the price tag is -- it will be substantially less than letting the current system go. I think it's about $30 trillion. Cooper: That's just for "Medicare for...

So much for having the coronavirus outbreak under control. While Xi Jinping’s government insists that they have turned the corner on the rapid spread of the disease, their actions tell another story. For the first time since the Cultural Revolution, the Communist Party-controlled parliament will postpone its regular March session — a major blow for state propaganda efforts in more ways than one: China has postponed its most important political gathering as the country struggles to contain a deadly coronavirus outbreak that has spread to more than two dozen other nations.China’s top legislature approved a draft decision on Monday...

Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden is a tough guy. How do we know? 'Cause he talks real tough, that's how. He also doesn't like guns very much. Doing his best Clint Eastwood impersonation, Biden told gun manufacturers that he is "coming for them." To do what, Biden doesn't say. But whatever can a senile doddering old fool actually do to make those gun makers quake in their boots? Maybe he'll throw his teeth at them Washington Examiner: “A guy has 12 assault weapons with bump stocks, which means you can fire it faster. You can pull the trigger faster,” Biden...

VIDEO Watch Stephanie Ruhle of MSNBC desperately try to convince the viewers that Democrat Socialism is not really Socialism. The funniest part is that Bernie Sanders himself has proudly declared himself a no-modifier SOCIALIST. He even praised the Socialism as it exists in Cuba. Sanders' supporters are also upfront in their support of SOCIALISM to the extent of wanting to end Capitalism as you can see in this video.

A core claim of the Bernie Sanders presidential campaign is that “democratic socialism” simply means Scandinavian-style democracy and relatively free markets with a generous social safety net. The truth is that Mr. Sanders has a long history of support for the most undemocratic of socialists, and even today he claims there were silver linings in the playbook of Marxist tyranny. In a Friday interview with Telemundo, Mr. Sanders was asked about the moment in a recent debate when rival Mike Bloomberg dismissed the Sanders agenda by noting that communism had failed. Mr. Sanders told Telemundo: Well, it’s the same old,...

H.L. Mencken once suggested that legislative seats be filled at random instead of by election. Admittedly, Mencken wrote that doing so might result in the selection of idiots. But, he said, “No matter how stupid they were, they could not be more stupid than the average legislator under the present system. Certainly, they’d be measurably more honest, taking one with another.” Here are some random musings from the last several days of Idaho lawmaking that makes Mencken’s proposal seem brilliant. On education: The Senate passed a bill to require elected school board trustees undergo mandatory training, conducted by the State...

<p>Almost everything the Democratic Left said about Donald Trump causing a Republican Party implosion proved untrue—and yet is proving true this year of the Democrats.</p>
<p>Trump’s agenda, for the most part, was Reaganesque, with a few important exceptions—closing the border and enforcing immigration law, getting tough with China’s unfair trade policies, restoring assembly and manufacturing jobs to the hollowed-out interior, avoiding optional wars abroad, and trying to drain the proverbial federal swamp of its careerist bureaucrats and revolving-door apparatchiks.</p>

Governor Gavin Newsom is pleading with his Legislature to fix California’s government-created housing shortage. As usual, Democrats are responding with a jack-hammer against business that will cause more problems. Berkeley state Senator Nancy Skinner last week introduced legislation that would let local governments fine developers that leave homes unoccupied for at least 90 days. Local governments would also be allowed to use eminent domain to acquire vacant properties and then rent them or sell them to a nonprofit. The bill targets so-called house flippers who buy and fix up homes—usually in foreclosure—and then resell them for a profit. But it...
