Ron Paul’s inclusive message attracting African American voters

Ron Paul’s inclusive message of peace, freedom, and prosperity may be attracting African American voters. According to this poll, Ron Paul leads his GOP opponents among black voters in general election contests.

In general election matches Paul loses among African American voters 60% to 33% against Hillary Clinton and loses 61% to 31% to Barack Obama.

In 2004 CNN exit polls show Bush receiving 11% of the African American vote in the general election against Kerry.

The averages of general election match up against either Hillary Clinton or Barack Obama are for Paul, Romney, McCain or Giuliani are, Ron Paul - 32%, Mitt Romney - 23.5%, John McCain - 20%, Rudy Giuliani - 16%.

If the polls are accurate it could mean that Ron Paul’s message that ‘Freedom unites people’ is working. Paul’s uncompromising defense of the Bill of Rights is making him a Civil Rights Leader in his own right. ("Ron Paul inspiring new Civil Rights movements")

The poll, if accurate, could also mean that Ron Paul’s message of ‘repealing the police state’ is resonating with African American voters.

Paul does appear to be a uniting political force attracting supporters at his events from all walks of life.

USA Daily does not encourage its readers to allow polls to influence their voting decisions in any way. They are too often inaccurate. This statement is not a comment on the poll in question just on polling in general. (Discuss the election on www.usadaily.net)

Poor Ron, it still hasn’t dawned on him that Iraqis are turning in Al Qaeda members to the U.S. troops in Iran. So much for old alliances huh.

Even Osama Bin Laden seems to be more up to speed than Ron Paul on the subject. Iraqis have rejected the terrorists. To bad Ron can’t.

He’s adopted their call for us to cut and run.

Well we talked about that the other night. I just think he is a kook & I would never vote for him because of his foreign policy . I just would not feel safe at all. I like Hunter.

It’s late and Jim must be sleeping. Otherwise he’d pull this whole thread. We’ve got the same people saying the same things to the same people who come back with the same replies...
Why not just wait until we have a few primaries behind us so we can make proper arguements. None of us is going to either, A) convince anyone else or, B) change his/her mind. So unless you have fat fingers that really need the exercise...

And when we did, we get the Ron Paul who damns us for doing so. Yet you consider my comments empty bluster and Ron’s vote a great example of a statesman of note.

Ron voted for the actions before he damned us for taking them.

Solid as a rock... in your mind.

I appreciate your two cents worth, but I’m tired of reading the assinign posts that equate Ron Paul with being lauded by Reagan, ignoring what Ron has become.

I pass by these threads 10 to 1, entering one of them. Once in a while, I just like to voice my thought that Ron is an idiot.

Sorry if that tweaks you the wrong way.

Iraqis have rejected the terrorists. To bad Ron can’t. He’s adopted their call for us to cut and run.

The Iraqis can only PROVE that they've "rejected the terrorists" the day that they EXTRADITE Parliament Minister Jamal Jafaar Mohammed, Prime Minister Nouri-Al Maliki, and their entire Gang of Al Dawa Party American-killing Terrorist Thugs to a US Court of Law to answer for their crimes against the United States in blowing up our Kuwaiti Embassy and our US Marine Barracks in Beirut.

Until they're willing to do that, all that they have done is elect a DIFFERENT Gang of American-killing Terrorist Thugs to Power.

And you actually think that we should support that Anti-Christian Government, with American Blood and Treasure.

I think that's just sickening.

You're unwilling to actually state your reasons for spending American Blood and Treasure to support an Anti-Christian Iraqi Government run by American-Killing Terrorist thugs.

Do you know why you're unwilling to do so?

Because you're ashamed.

That's why you are unwilling to address my direct question (and why you won't, in your next response). You have no response.

And how could you? Your position, by any Christian standard of ethics, is utterly indefensible.

You think? That’s a hoot.

Ron voted for it before he damned everyone for doing it.

Then he adopted the terrorists number one objective as his own.

Please tell me again how statesmanlike that was.

“Well Marge, I know Fred Thompson is pretty good, but wait. Didn’t Ron Paul adopt Osama Bin Laden’s number one objective? Well hell, how could I vote for anyone else?”

Ron Paul did vote for military action against those who committed the 9/11 atrocities.

He never signed on for spending American Blood and Treasure to support an Anti-Christian Iraqi Thug-Regime run by a Gang of American-Killing Al Dawa Party Terrorists.

I can't imagine why any Patriotic American would support such an abomination.

It certainly sickens me that you do.

Nah. Your opinion is every bit as good as mine and lumped together, they’re both almost useless. We can rant and/or rave until we stroke out and it won’t make a bit of difference in the outcome.
While I would like to see someone like Paul as President I know he won’t make it. It’s no longer enough that we citizens want him, he has to be approved by the bankers, the network executives, the billionaire owners of munitions plants and various and sundry other “leaders.” Since his election would cause all of them a great deal of financial harm they danged sure ain’t going to let him in. Remember, follow the money.
Before you start saying something about my tinfoil hat, which I happen to think is quite stylish, stop to think: How’d Carter get in?

Maybe we should invade Iraq and get him...

We're already there; he's an Elected Member of Parliament (never mind his Death Sentence in absentia for his brutal crimes against America); and you think that we should continue spending American Blood and Treasure to prop up his Government.

Real nice. Real patriotic of you. You must be Proud.

So... go VOTE HILLARY, and BE PROUD.

"Conservatism" like yours, I can do without.

No problem bub. I’ve seen what passes for logic for you, and it makes me glad to see that you think I’m a nut.

How many thousands of terrorists have we killed in Iraq? Do you think it was better for them to die on Iraqi soil, or wait in the wings for their next act of terrorism?

I’m sure Ron may think Iraq’s leaders are bad. And there are probably some good reasons for thinking so. None the less, we are better off today if Al Qaeda and the Taliban networks have been destroyed, or even desimated.

If you can’t understand this, why would I get weak in the knees that you don’t like my position on this?

Ron and Osama Bin Laden share a desire for the U.S. to get out of Iraq. If it were a good thing for the terrorists, Osama wouldn’t want that would he?

Oh well, there is that...
