Nah. Your opinion is every bit as good as mine and lumped together, they’re both almost useless. We can rant and/or rave until we stroke out and it won’t make a bit of difference in the outcome.
While I would like to see someone like Paul as President I know he won’t make it. It’s no longer enough that we citizens want him, he has to be approved by the bankers, the network executives, the billionaire owners of munitions plants and various and sundry other “leaders.” Since his election would cause all of them a great deal of financial harm they danged sure ain’t going to let him in. Remember, follow the money.
Before you start saying something about my tinfoil hat, which I happen to think is quite stylish, stop to think: How’d Carter get in?
Carter got in mostly because Ford was appointed by Nixon, and he was never elected to the office of V.P. Other folks didn’t like it that he pardoned Nixon.
Carter was a lucky man that year. Based on his merits, I’d like to think he’d never have been elected.
