My son Michael

My three year old son Michael died this morning at 3 a.m. He had been experiencing high fevers for over a month and has been in the hospital again for the last few days. The doctors were unable to determine the cause of his illness and had contacted many others to review the many tests they had run on him.
Though he received very good medical care, his little heart just stopped beating and wouldn't start again. I know he is in the arms of Jesus, but I just don't understand why this has happened.
Please pray for me, my wife, and my other children. I don't know what we are going to do. We are all so upset. The doctor at the hospital gave my wife an injection of a sedative to calm her down. I'm feeling really desperate. God gave us such a beautiful boy, and now He has taken him away from us. I don't understand. Please pray for us.

Words are so worthless at a time like this... I am pulling for you and your wife, your children and your family.

You will be in our prayers. We have a son that just turned three as well, and I can only imagine how hard this is. My heart goes out to you.

Dear Oxford, I pray with all my heart that God's love will sustain you and your family through this terrible, terrible time. Just knowing your beloved boy is with Jesus doesn't lessen the pain of the loss to you.

You don't know me, buy my daughter passed away in 1992, so I felt a need to say something. My Amber's death almost destroyed my wife and I and our marraige. I was filled with hate towards my Lord Jesus Christ and the world in general for many years afterward. I cursed the name of Jesus unmercifully.
Please try not to react like I did. Lean on the Lord, your family and your congregation. My prayers are with you and your family.

May you be comforted in your tragic loss. Losing a young child is so very sad. It makes no sense at all. May your family be granted the strength to deal with it.

I wish that I had some answers for you, but I do not. I do know that Our Lord Jesus Christ has all of the answers and will give them to you in time. Take time to Grieve. It is so important. Do all that you can for all of your family as they will be so important for you and each other. My prayers are for God to keep his arms around all of you and keep you safe in his love.

I can't imagine anything more painful than losing one's child. You and your family have my prayers.
Sr. Mary Jude told my mother when she lost her infant son that one day she would meet him again in the flower of his manhood on the meadows of Heaven. That is little consolation right now, I know.
I'm so sorry.
