Statesmen may plan and speculate for liberty, but it is religion and morality alone which can establish the principles upon which freedom can securely stand. The only foundation of a free constitution is pure virtue. - John Adams |
No. For the discussion you believe these pediphile human beings are priests, I don't. I don't believe pediphile ministers are ministers either.

Since both of us have different understandings of what happenes when we're baptized, I'll simply tell you what Paul said to do concerning people who are considered part of the church or ministry, who are in sin.
To deliver such an one unto Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus.
Thats not our problem, God will take care of it once you do what He's told you to do.
JH
Which brings us to #7. Do you ever repeat the same sins? Even though you repented and confessed once, do you ever repeat the same thing over and over?
If they were genuinely contrite, they would seek God's goodness to repent.
And you judge this "genuine contriteness" how?
SD
Fine. Then could you ever be plucked out of the grasp of Jesus your savior? Or when you got saved was it something permanent that God did, no matter what you do?
SD
I believe they were priests. But when they committed sin (abomination type of sin) they ceased to be. Do you think God looks upon him as one of His priests?
Tell me, do you really believe that a man who's every move is scrutinized by the non-Christians, could have a sin like pedophelia or fornication in his life?
Do you think this was the type of sin he referred to?
If so, then most of us are more righteous then Paul was.
JH
Yes, I agree. Further, I think the Catholics, despite resistance from some of the bishops, are taking care of the problem.
Absolutely. See my above post to Jim. We consider entering the priesthood just as seriously as you do your salvation. If Jesus can save a man no matter what sin he commits, then God can make a man a priest in a similar irrevocable way.

Would you care to comment on Romans 7:15-25?
Now priests who abuse their calling will find a special circle in hell, we can be sure. But they are never "unpriested."
Sez you. I assign the same validity to that as I do to the tooth fairy.
I'm implying the techniques are the same.
Sorry to disapoint ya ipeV. :-)
JH :-)
More than that, they shouldn't be in any public positions.
If yall want to keep them in the church doing something else after they have served their time (I assume your church is now reporting this?)
Reporting what? If you mean turning over old files to local DAs, yes all are supposed to be doing so, though some of the bishops are still resisting. They will be the next forced to step down. Mahony in LA is at this point right now.
Yes, in many cases the local DAs lack the authority (statutes of limitations) or the capability (witnesses not available, etc.) to try very old offenses that were not reported before. In those cases, the Church has reserved the possibility of punishing such priests by removing them from any active service and forbidding them to dress or act as a priest. This is an alternative to simply throwing such usually old and poor men onto the welfare state.
that's up to yall but you have to assume responsibility if you do.
That is exactly the point. Keep them in house, but away from the public.

In any event no one is "born" a Priest/Minister. Some men just take it upon themselves to say they are.
you have tho option of remaining silent. Someone (presumably) had an interest in understanding our beliefs on this when this cycle began.
