Just so you can put a face to JHavard, I'm Jim from Clearwater Fl. where I've lived since 89 and before that in the Ohio,Pa,W.Va triangle area where I had lived in all three but called Ohio home, plus three years in east Texas.

Im an ex-Marine, although that's an oxymoron. I worked in the auto body trade business until I invented a tool that the trade had been waiting for, and then went into manufacturing it plus a few others tools until a large company infringed on my patent, and I sued, they bought me out, and I was forced to move to sunny Florida.

I became well versed in patent law and patent claims although no formal training. My beloved grandmother gave me the middle name of Havard because it was her Doctors name and she thought it would look good as J Havard, so at 65 years old, I thought I had better hurry up and use it in case I see her in 20 or 30 years and she ask me about it.Lol

I started out as a United Brethern Methodist at age 22, where I went to the alter at a revival meeting one night, and was later baptized in a farmers pond, and then drifted around churches until I fell into The World Wide Church of God. I spent 12 years there before God told me I had learned enough about man and his need for power and control, and since then I have allowed Christ and His word only to tell me what he wants of me, and no man will be responsable for my decisions but me.

I just learned about grace two years ago when Christ must have felt sorry for the guilt trips I had put on my self, so he called my wife and I at the same time into a new life. My wife of 12 years had been a devout Catholic, and now she is a devout Christian in the true church of Christ. We consider our selves non-denominational since we don't attend a physical Church building, although we find we lean toward the Baptist more then most.

We keep the seventh day rest, not as the Jews or Adventist, but as it was originally kept before the Jews ruined it. Lol. I have nothing against the Jews because I used to think I was a Jew from reading the Old Testament for years and thinking I was one of those good guys like Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.

Then I found out that I was a Gentile, one of those bad guys that God was always telling the Jews to stay away from Ha,ha. JH :)

Since this profile was made, my wife and I have started attending a small church over in Tampa. We've been going there for over a year now, and though we would like to find a Church a little closer, we'll continue there until God finds us another.

We have met some wonderful people, and feel right at home. We still rest on the 7th day, but now worship on the 1st day of the week.
