This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. (1 John 5:14)

FATHER GOD,

Help us be like the new believers in the time of Acts when they faced increased persecution for their faith.

As soon as they were freed, Peter and John returned to the other believers and told them what the leading priests and elders had said. When they heard the report, all the believers lifted their voices together in prayer to GOD: “O Sovereign LORD, CREATOR of heaven and earth, the sea, and everything in them— You spoke long ago by the HOLY SPIRIT through our ancestor David, Your servant, saying,

‘Why were the nations so angry? Why did they waste their time with futile plans? The kings of the earth prepared for battle; the rulers gathered together against the LORD and against His MESSIAH.’

“In fact, this has happened here in this very city! For Herod Antipas, Pontius Pilate the governor, the Gentiles, and the people of Israel were all united against JESUS, Your Holy Servant, Whom You anointed. But everything they did was determined beforehand according to Your will. And now, O LORD, hear their threats, and give us, Your servants, great boldness in preaching Your word. Stretch out Your hand with healing power; may miraculous signs and wonders be done through the name of Your Holy Servant JESUS.”

After this prayer, the meeting place shook, and they were all filled with the HOLY SPIRIT. Then they preached the word of GOD with boldness. (Acts 4:23-31)

LORD, after Stephen was stoned to death and Peter and John were beaten and imprisoned for Your Name’s sake, the believers did not cower in fear, but in faith cried out to You for great boldness and spiritual gifts. They put the honor of Your Name before all else.

Pour out Your SPIRIT upon us. Bestow upon us supernatural boldness and spiritual gifts to stand against our enemies. Speak through us with love and humility. Empower us to act and speak the truth fearlessly regardless of risks.

May our efforts reverberate across America and cause a shift in the prevailing culture. May we Your people do great exploits in rebuilding the broken foundations of our nation. Empower us to do the impossible and to give You all glory and honor. May we be used to accomplish Your will for such a time as this.

Protect and give favor to those who are on the frontlines fighting for our freedom. Fill President Trump, Kari Lake, and all candidates who have the fear of the LORD with Your SPIRIT. Protect and liberate the January 6 political prisoners. Put a shield around our border patrols.

Rescue those who are in floods and fire and contrived danger from evil doers. Thank you, people are awakening to the rampant sex-trafficking in our nation. May this evil be ended, and the perpetrators prosecuted.

Lastly LORD, prosper us when powers that be attempt to bankrupt us. Give farmers bumper crops despite the wicked weather. Grant us peace as chaos and destruction run rampant around us.

In JESUS’ Name we pray. AMEN.
