What is really scary is how many so-called Christians are redefining Christianity in their own terms.
The churches are filled with such folks. Liberals.
It would be interesting to see just how many real Bible-believing and Bible-behaving Christians there are in America today.
And it isn't new. Harry Emerson Fosdick, at Riverside Church on the West Side in Manhattan, either started this liberalism in the American church or gave it a giant boost.
In 1922 Fosdick’s sermon entitled “Shall the Fundamentalists Win?” set off the controversy that rocked the old-line denominations of his day. The good thing is that there will be a return to Christian orthodoxy by those who reject this liberalism.

Gaia IS paganism, as is anything that replaces the Good6 of the Universe as an object of worship. Idolatry takes an astonishing number of forms.
Obviously, persecution is not the only way God has of purifying the church.
He's been drawing and redrawing the line in the sand over and over again for years now.
The first time it became really apparent was when obama was elected president in 2008.
Since then the divide between good and evil is becoming more and more clear cut and people are making their choice no longer being deceived, but with eyes wide open.

I completely agree with Naomi Wolf. There is no way the perfect storm of evil in our country just happened. No individual human or organized group is capable of planning and executing such a convergence of evil. This isn't a conspiracy, as much as we assume it must be because anything else would be impossible.
This is the handiwork of spiritual evil in high places (Eph 6:12). Nothing else is possible.

And Jesus is the only solution.
It really does help get our focus back on the eternal. It’s too easy to become consumed by this world when everything is going well and we’re fat, dumb, and happy.
But seeing this kind of blatant, unbridled evil had better shake you to the core, or you need to really consider exactly where you stand with Christ.
For example, there was a book published a couple of weeks ago by a guy (a very regular guy) in NC that since 2007 has been experiencing what he calls UFOs on his farm. He says he was raised in the church and is a deeply religious man BUT he says that what is visiting him are "angels from God."
This guy is well-known in UFO circles and his farm has become a popular spot for people from various government agencies (CIA, Pentagon, etc.) who have an interest in this subject (for some reason).
His book is #1 best seller in "Angels" at Amazon.
My point in bringing this up is that a lot of naive and perhaps innocent people are being suckered by this kind of story.
