These days, to my surprise, people want to talk to me about evil.
In a Substack essay last year, and in my book The Bodies of Others, I raised a question about existential, metaphysical darkness.
I concluded that I had looked at the events of the past two and a half years using all of my classical education, my critical thinking skills, my knowledge of Western and global history and politics; and that, using these tools, I could not explain the years 2020-present.
I could not explain the way the Western world simply switched, from being based at least overtly on values of human rights and decency, to values of death, exclusion and hatred, overnight, en masse — without resorting to reference to some metaphysical evil that goes above and beyond fallible, blundering human agency.
When ordinary would-be-tyrants try to take over societies, there is always some flaw, some human impulse undoing the headlong rush toward a negative goal. There are always factions, or rogue lieutenants, in ordinary human history; there is always a miscalculation, or a blunder, or a security breach; or differences of opinion at the top.
But none of that fracturing or mismanagement of normal history took place in the global rush to “lockdowns”, the rollout of COVID hysteria, of “mandates”, masking, of global child abuse, of legacy media lying internationally at scale and all lying in one direction, of thousands of “trusted messengers” parroting a single script, and of forced or coerced mRNA injections into at least half of the humans on Planet Earth.
I reluctantly came to the conclusion that human agency alone could not coordinate a highly complicated set of lies about a virus, and propagate the lies in perfect uniformity around an entire globe, in hundreds of languages and dialects.

The gods of the copybook headings ...
This is a clarion call. There is much more to what you posted than most realize. It aligns quite well with Biblical prophecy and the exiting of the Church age imho.
Numerous discussions along these lines have been coming up with people I talk to, very educated and mature Christians (again imho) and the prevailing theme is just this, something has changed in the world and it is a spiritual malevolence with agency.
Well we certainly witnessed the likes of mass evil that we’d never seen before on a global scale. Many are trying to figure out the root of it. Mass Formation is one theory. At a deeper level, evil as explained in religious texts is another.
Well we are certainly in a battle of good vs. evil, and the spiritual veils are coming down to allow evil unchecked and unfettered power in the corporal realm.
But most of the time, if I remind myself that the 2020 election was the covert takeover of the US by the CCP, everything makes sense.
Also, the recent elections in Brazil and the CCP-aided takeover of Canada by Justin Treaudu certainly add weight to this argument.
That being said Dr. Wolf is a powerful force for good in the world, in spite of spending most of her life standing against conservatism.
The “headings” in a classical copybook were mostly passages from the Bible.

Yes, a very long and interesting essay. If these ancient “Gods” are indeed ascendant, I think they are also surprisingly adept at using technology to further their aims. Their frontal assault failed, so the are using the Internet to spread and coordinate their agenda.
The power of the internet will soon be interfaced into the human brain, eventually giving forth to a hive mind, and the devil's desire to have some form of omnipresence. The lure of technology is the modern day fruit from the tree of knowledge.

Now, with altars and images of pagan gods taking 'place of pride' in our country, and bizarre evil focused on children etc. I do feel the spiritual rising of Evil as I believe it is spoken of in the bible as the church, and the Age of Grace, exits.
It certainly seems like it.
Moreover, many of today's trends such as promotion of sexual immorality and the LGBQT+ agenda, the celebration of our Moloch worshiping death cult, the Tranny obsession, climate agenda, the outright and blatant lies and gas lighting seemingly lifted right out of Isaiah 5:20, the willful mocking of word of the The Lord while at the same time openly embracing Satanic evil and the official rejection of lawful behavior and promotion of lawlessness all seem to focus on the promotion of that which has historically been considered that which most offends The Lord really gets one to consider current events in light of a moral/religious context as much as political one.
Later that day, a Christian friend I spoke with brought up Antipas and the 'seat of Satan'. I noted we were both thinking about/reading about the same topic. She researched it and I'll post her content below. Basically, the Bible was likely referring to Geneva Switzerland- home of the New World Order aspirants the EU, World Health Organization, UN etc. Biden is 'negotiating' away American sovereignty, so that now during the next 'plandemic' WHO will take control of the United States' pandemic response, which I take to mean forced ID chips, mandatory vaccines etc.

Then I have found multiple sources which say (according to Eastern Orthodox Tradition - which I believe is usually more accurate in most things) this:
“According to Eastern Orthodox traditions, according to the commentary on the Apocalypse of Andreas of Caesarea, it is believed that Saint Antipas was the Antipas referred to in the Book of Revelation 2:13, as the verse says: “I know thy works, and where thou dwellest, even where Satan’s seat is: and thou holdest fast …:
“The traditional account goes on to say Antipas was martyred during the reign of Nero (54-68), by burning in a brazen bull-shaped altar at the Appollyon temple in Lyon/ Geneva Switzerland. There is a tradition of oil (“manna of the saints”) being secreted from the relics of Saint Antipas.”

I have also been thinking about the condition of our culture in America. I have come to the conclusion that what is going on (especially the "trans" movement that has been trying, and somewht succeeding) to mutilate our children; with no regard for their futures. To take an innocent child, and fill them with opposite sex hormones and perform irreversible surgeries on them, this is demonic.
People have been saying that we are in a "spiritual battle" right now. I have to say, that I am convinced, at this point in time, that they are correct.

Strange times.
I find her reasoning a little convoluted, and her understanding of history and geography much flawed.
The “gods” never left, they were just hanging out more flamboyantly in non-Christian parts of the world, and more surreptitiously in Christendom.
And if doesn’t think that Hitler, or the Stanlinists in Russia were in leagues with the “gods”. Then she’s quite mistaken.
But she apparently is beginning to to see the big picture of what going on in the world today, and one has to start somewhere.
