Join with fellow FREEPERS to pray for AMERICA: For those in Authority in Government, Family, Military, Business, Healthcare, Education, Churches, and the Media. I urge, then, first of all, that requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone: for kings and all those in authority that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. ~ 1 Timothy 2:1-2

He is the radiance of the glory of God and the exact imprint of his nature, and he upholds the universe by the word of his power. After making purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high.

In Jesus Name, Amen.

Oh Lord, when I look at the difficulties around us and my own failures I focus on Your Glory, how You rose from the dead and sit on the Right side of the Father in Majesty. We come to You oh mighty God and lay our worries and failures before You. For You have forgiven our sins and given us hope. We look to You for the healing of the nations.

Lord we do not forget those who were unlawfully imprisoned, those fighting in a foolish war, those who are being robbed of a means of living from the corrupt. We pray for justice for Your people and wisdom in our prayers and actions. Lord we lift up our leadership to you because.. Without wise leadership, a nation falls;

As my own hand has written,
I was born in Britain
when Romans reigned over the place

Though the son of a deacon,
I shunned the Lord’s beacon
and never cared much for His grace

Then while I was still childish,
the fierce pagan Irish
snatched me and stole me away

So with no-one to save me
from those who’d enslave me,
that’s when I started to pray

Prayed to the God who had freed me from sin
that He’d free me from slavery’s abyss

But while I was a-waitin’
the Lord’s liberating,
the Pagans would taunt me like this:

Come on now Patrick,
come sing of the One who has saved you
as you clean our mold-ridden socks

Come on now holy boy,
call on God’s son,
as we beat you with sticks and/or rocks

6 whole years they enslaved me,
but He who had saved me,
His will would not never be done

So one day while dreamin’,
I heard a voice screamin’,
a voice that was tellin’ me

Low was my hope,
when I spotted a boat,

Prayer For All Who Show God’s Mercy

Father, we live in a world where there are so many hurting people that at times it can become overwhelming and we find ourselves stepping back, and almost hoping that the problem will go away. And yet Jesus demonstrated a life that overflowed with deep-compassion and tender-mercy towards all those that were wounded and abused, troubled or hurt. Help us to stretch out a willing arm of comfort, when we see other people hurting or in pain, and may we extend a godly mercy that only comes from You, to those that are the unlovely or the unlovable.

May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ become our inner clothing and may the love of the Father be the outer garment that we wear, so that by Your Spirit we may be empowered to bless and help all those with whom we come in contact. May all we say and do be a witness to the grace and mercy of God and we pray that You would give us opportunities to minister Your mercy and love to Your praise and glory. In Jesus’ name we pray,
