We confess that You are King of kings and Lord of lords. There is no one greater than You. We exalt You, Lord, as the One, true and mighty God, the everlasting Father, and the Prince of Peace. Lord, we praise You and we call upon Your Name. We declare Your deeds among the peoples, and we make mention that Your Name is exalted.
Lord, we thank you for calling into being the United States of America. We are grateful for the godly foundation laid by men and women of faith who established in our country a commitment to freedom that they saw as a wonderful gift from You. Thank You for the sacrifice of so many through the years who gave time, effort, and even their lives to preserve and protect the freedoms we have come to enjoy.
But Lord, we confess we have fallen far away from You and we have forgotten our promises to You. We have depended upon our own strength and wisdom rather than that which comes from above. We have failed to protect our most vulnerable---the babies in the womb. We have chanted and shouted about the “rights” that women have to choose whether they bring the baby in the womb to birth. We have nodded with weak and phony understanding as we hear the reasons why “it’s just not the right time for us to have a child.” And then we return to our homes and believe the devil’s lies that there is nothing else we can do about the torturous deaths the babies suffer. Have mercy on us, Lord.
Lord, we face troubling times and frequently we feel both helpless and hopeless. We have remained at home and allowed a few people to determine what is taught in our schools, enabling them to insert vile and unprecedented evil into the curriculum for the sake of being “open and woke” to all kinds of ideas from our diverse public. And we have accepted a back seat in the education and the control of our children. Have mercy on us, Lord.
Father, we ask You to pour out upon our nation a spirit of repentance. Help us to turn from sin and return to You. As we seek Your face, we ask You to revive your people once again and to empower Your church to be the salt and light You have called us to be. We say in the Name of Jesus that You will let Your work appear to Your servants and Your glory to their children. We declare that the beauty of the Lord our God is upon us and You shall establish the work of our hands for us.
Out of Your great mercy and amazing grace, make us one, Lord, as You and the Father are one. Holy Spirit, teach us how to honor and respect one another and to walk in a manner worthy of the Lord. Transform us into image bearers of Christ who reflect the love and grace that Jesus showed us at the Cross of Calvary. In His powerful and merciful Name we pray, Amen.

Sunday of the Publican and the Pharisee Beginning of the Lenten Triodion
Kontakion
Let us flee from the pride of the Pharisee! / And learn humility from the Publican’s tears! / Let us cry to our Savior, / have mercy on us, / only merciful One!
Luke 18:10-14 (Gospel)
10
“Two men went up to the temple to pray, one a Pharisee and the other a tax collector.
11
The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, ‘God, I thank You that I am not like other men – extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this tax collector.
12
I fast twice a week; I give tithes of all that I possess.’
13
And the tax collector, standing afar off, would not so much as raise his eyes to heaven, but beat his breast, saying, ‘God, be merciful to me a sinner!’
14
I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other; for everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted.”
Amen and amen. You have been here faithfully since 2000
In agreement. Amen.
More soon. Lord, protect and strengthen us as You have done, please continue. In Jesus’ Name, amen. Let all be for Your glory.
Dear Lord, we beseech Thee to purge the monstrous Satanic evil that has seized control of our institutions and government ! Bring these evil individuals to justice ! Strike down these wicked individuals and institutions that blatantly and audaciously lie to the public about their true (evil) intentions while painting good people as the real enemy !
Do not let these servants of darkness prevail over Your children ! Send forth Your angels to liberate us, oh, Lord ! Hear our cries and help us, please, dear Lord !
AMEN !
