FATHER GOD,

I will exalt You, LORD, for You rescued me. You refused to let my enemies triumph over me. O LORD my GOD, I cried to You for help, and You restored my health. You brought me up from the grave, O LORD. You kept me from falling into the pit of death.

Sing to the LORD, all you godly ones! Praise His holy name. For His anger lasts only a moment, but His favor lasts a lifetime! Weeping may last through the night, but joy comes with the morning.

When I was prosperous, I said, “Nothing can stop me now!” Your favor, O LORD, made me as secure as a mountain. Then You turned away from me, and I was shattered.

I cried out to You, O LORD. I begged the LORD for mercy, saying, “What will You gain if I die, if I sink into the grave? Can my dust praise You? Can it tell of Your faithfulness? Hear me, LORD, and have mercy on me. Help me, O LORD.”

You have turned my mourning into joyful dancing. You have taken away my clothes of mourning and clothed me with joy, that I might sing praises to You and not be silent. O LORD my GOD, I will give You thanks forever! (Psalm 30)

We give thanks to You, mighty and awesome GOD. Your faithfulness, kindness, great love, mercy, grace, and reliable Promises see us through trial and tribulation. When storms of life pass through, we can look back to see Your protection and provision.

We declare Your Promises over our family, friends, nation, and believers throughout the world:

“The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The LORD is the stronghold of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?” — Psalm 27:1

“It is the LORD who goes before you. He will be with you; He will not leave you or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed.” — Deuteronomy 31:8

“Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.” — Psalm 23:4

“The steadfast love of the LORD never ceases; His mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness.” — Lamentations 3:22-23

“Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid.” — John 14:27

“GOD is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.” — Psalm 46:1

“I have said these things to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.” — John 16:33

“Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.” — Matthew 5:4

“Cast your burden on the LORD, and He will sustain you; He will never permit the righteous to be moved.” — Psalm 55:22

“No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of GOD in CHRIST JESUS our LORD.” — Romans 8:37-39

Dear Lord, we beseech Thee to purge the monstrous Satanic evil that has seized control of our institutions and government ! Bring these evil individuals to justice ! Strike down these wicked individuals and institutions that blatantly and audaciously lie to the public about their true (evil) intentions while painting good people as the real enemy !

Sidelight. When my precious wife Joy was alive (she passed away Feb.26 this year at home with me) whenever things at work or in the news were unpleasant, I liked to remember that Psalm 30:5 from one translation that had it “At night you will go to sleep weeping but in the morning you will go out with Joy.”

May she be happy today in heaven as I remember her.
