Again I am off to do some work, so I'll respond to any question when I get home later this afternoon.

Thank you. Considering my editing of it, and the new information I added, it turned out to be an article I actually wrote over a period of 13 years.

Jesus is often spoken of in the New Testament in terms of light, not darkness. He is the light of the world. That Jesus would be “dark matter” seems a contravention to what Biblical descriptions of him indicate.

Read the article again,
Scientists claim Dark Matter is the cosmic glue that holds things together. That is what Hebrews tells us Christ is.
Do not get hung up on the word, :”Dark” used, just understand that what they claim is cosmic glue, is in actuallityJesus.

Colossian 1:15-17 covers dark matter as well

Good point, I will add it to the commentary on my blog. Interestingly, I just checked and that passage is highlighted in my Bible with a reference to Hebrew 1:1-4

When I read Colossians 1:15-17 I often think of the strong nuclear force. LOL

Possibly “dark” refers to the invisibility or rather the inability to detect visually this particular substance.

I watched
Particle Fever several years ago and LOL'd when the Higgs Boson was discovered to have 125 giga electron volts... Right between the 2 theories of 115 and 140 of the Super Symmmery and Multiverse theorist, leaving all of them baffled. God has a sense of humor, especially with the "God Particle". (Synopsis in my link has the specifics.)

One thought on that perspective: In the Transfiguration, the glory of Jesus was allowed to shine through so Peter, James and John could see the reality of who He was. Maybe another way to think of it in creation is that his presence throughout creation is obscured so that man does not see Him and his accompanying glory. Interesting thought.

It does grate the senses somewhat, but the scientists came up with the term, which they probably thought sounded cool, mysterious and cosmic. But we know that God is Light, and as the creator of all things is not what but Who holds it all together.

That and other detection methods. That's why it's called "dark matter"... it is undetectable by our current science. It's all just some made up theory because the astrophysicists have determined that gravity is not enough to hold matter together on their white board calculations.
