Granting, as scriptures stipulate, that "Jesus holds all things together", would you attempt to limit His method for doing so? Cannot He employ dark matter and gravity and nuclear forces, etc., in the physical realm?

More broadly, both the Hebrews and Colossians passages explicitly include heaven. He holds it together, too.

I suspect there is danger in equating God to physical phenomena. You seem dismissive of the reality of dark matter, but the physical evidence for it is impressive.

I read all your comments, and honestly took your suggestions into consideration.

Since I also post these to my blog, I am interested in being sure that any errors, or misunderstanding are cleared up.

So I took the suggestions and emended my commentary. If anyone is interested in the corrections I made, you need to go to my blog and read it, since it is impossible to correct the one I posted to FreeRepublic.

NO, I readily admit it exists, but they do not equate it with GOD, which the Scriptures clearly state HE is the ONE who holds things together, and Peter tells us one day both the Heavens and the Earth will melt away, and that is when HE will let it all go to scubala. Forgive my Greek.

HE stretched out the heavens like a tent ... and HE is going to roll them up like a scroll. THEN HE is going to make a new heaven and new Earth.

Some physicists contend that the zero point field is the source of inertia and gravity. A Christian astrophysicist has promoted the theory that the speed of light has substantially slowed since creation due to the virtuqal particles popping in and out of physical existence cause resistance to the speeding photons, such that the more the 'tent' has stretched out the more latent energy has generate more and greater zero point energy thus lots more virtual particles slowing the photons.

BTW, photons exist in the linear space of our universe. They are confined to linear/present spacetime. They have a wave component, but do not even sense their own wave function because it is in planar space and the photon particle is confined to linear.

A photon crosses the Universe in linear space and always int he present of its emission. That's why science can tell us what a star was like when the light reaching our sensors reveals the present of when the light was produced.
