As Russia pummels Ukraine in an invasion waged on Thursday, Moscow’s Deputy Ambassador to the UN, Dmitry Polyanskiy, leveled the same type of sentiment at Israel as the Kremlin did towards Ukraine.
“We’re concerned over Tel Aviv’s announced plans for expanding settlement activity in the occupied Golan Heights, which contradicts the provisions of the 1949 Geneva Convention. Russia doesn’t recognize Israel’s sovereignty over Golan Heights that are part of Syria,” he tweeted.
Putin refused to recognize republics Donetsk and Luhansk as sovereign Ukraine like the Golan.
Interestingly, Polyanskiy referred to Israel’s capital as Tel Aviv rather than Jerusalem.
Russia has boosted Syria’s President Bashar Assad in Syria’s decade-long civil war. Many speculate that Russia’s latest comments regarding Israel respond to Israeli Foreign Minister Yair Lapid, who seemed to side with Ukraine after announcing that Israel will follow suit if Washington enacts sanctions against Moscow.
If Russia, whose troops are embedded throughout Syria, invades Israel in the bordering Golan Heights, it could fulfill a Rabbinic prophecy covered by Israel365 News.

Don't forget Putin, Israel also has nukes, and they won't simply let you mass forces on their border. They've proven that many times.
Sorry, Putin, the Golan Heights belong to Israel every bit as much as Kaliningrad belongs to Russia.
So the Russians are thinking about sticking their butts in Israel?
Not a good idea.
Read Ezekiel 38 and 39 ( like my late husband used to say, when He gets pi**ed off, things start getting scary.)
We won.
Let's eat.
Just ordered a PUCK FUTIN T shirt...lol
Yeah I’m sure Putin will take on the Israeli’s 5600 miles away. Not too mush a stretch of supply lines.
Putin has always been a big supporter of paliscum.
English is the second most spoken language in Israel. Virtually everyone I've encountered there can speak English, though for most it is not their first language.

Considering all the money we give Israel I would think they have a much better military than Russia.
I was there in 81, while in the USAF. It was eye opening.
An especially bad idea now that it is becoming apparent Russia has run out of smart bombs in the Ukraine.
Trump pulling troops out of Syria was a bad idea.

Not all gone, some still at Al Tanif last I heard.
Golan belongs to Israel only as long as they can hold it.
Russia simply does not have enough troops and is now out of smart bombs - some other time, perhaps under a different leader.
I know. I didn’t say he pulled all of them out. But he was still attacked.
The Soviet Union supported Arabs.
Putin grew up with many Jewish influences that he regards positively, and has had a lot of little-noticed cooperation with the State of Israel. But even a dictator has to account for the political concerns left over from the Soviets.
Trouble with sanctions ; the more the US pushes sanctions the more other look for another currency. Another world currency spells big trouble for the US, as all of its debts come due, forcing the US into bankruptcy. And Americans into utter poverty.
You can shell a huge amount of Israel with 155s from the Golan. Israel will never give it up.
