Thank you, Heavenly Father, for the plan of salvation through Christ Jesus. Help us to stay rooted and strengthened in the faith. Keep us overflowing with thankfulness. Fill us with the Holy Spirit to teach us and remind us of all you said.
Colossians 2:6-7 - So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in him, rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness.
John 14:26 - But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you.
We come before You now, though, with breaking hearts as we watch horrendous events unfold in Afghanistan. Please help those who are stranded there to find safety until they can be rescued and brought out. We pray, Father, for all the civilian and military personnel who are in danger, and we pray for their families.
The illegitimate leadership of this nation is rapidly causing our country’s demise. They want to enslave us and eliminate all our God-given freedoms. Lord, we cry out to You to miraculously intervene and restore the duly elected leaders the people of this country voted for. We ask You to extend grace and mercy to Your people. We trust in Your faithfulness. You have promised to never leave or forsake us. Thank You, Lord. We stand on that promise.
Lord, give us clear direction during this time of chaos. Sorting the truth from the lies has become nearly impossible. Grant us wisdom and supernatural discernment. Guide our paths and light our way.
The word which goes forth from Your mouth will not return void. Your counsel stands forever to all generations. We put all our trust and hope in You.
Isaiah 55:10-11 - For as the rain and the snow come down from heaven, And do not return there without watering the earth And making it bear and sprout, And furnishing seed to the sower and bread to the eater; So will My word be which goes forth from My mouth; It will not return to Me empty, Without accomplishing what I desire, And without succeeding in the matter for which I sent it.
Psalm 33:11 - The counsel of the Lord stands forever, The plans of His heart to all generations.
Almighty God, You are the beginning and the end. You never change. And for this we are so very grateful.
Revelation 1:8 - I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.
