Heavenly Father –

As we passed the anniversary of the Gettysburg Address, we painfully see how we still are divided as a people. More than ever since the Civil War.

May we remember the surprising Words of Jesus:

Jesus divided men while on earth. Pharisees: Simon and Saul(Paul). Disciples: Judas and Peter. Women: Mary of Bethany and Pilate’s wife. Romans soldiers: those who crucified Jesus, one confessed He was the Son of God. Thieves: Those on the each side, one asked be to remembered in His kingdom.

Grant us, Lord, discernment and knowledge of Your Word to divide: Light from darkness. Good from evil. Truth from lies and propaganda. To know when Your Spirit is speaking or not.

Give us a heart of repentance. Cleanse us. Heal us. Spark revival within us. As You, Lord, are the only One that can deliver us from evil as You have intervened so many times before in the emergence of America.

We pray for a miracle in our days. Deliverance from those who would destroy us from within.

We lift up President Trump for protection from attacks on all fronts—physically, emotionally, spiritually. Grant him Wisdom from Heaven, courage, and strength to fight for what is right. Especially during this contested election.

Preserve our Republic in the spirit of our first president, George Washington.

And through the power of the Holy Spirit, give us victory over those who would destroy our land and oppress us.
