I am having a knee replaced on Monday, July 20th. It's been a hectic week since I got a cancellation spot with only ten days notice.

Please pray that this operation goes smoothly, and that the recovery goes well.

Prayers for your successful surgery. Most of my contemporaries have had very good fortune with knee replacement .. a 2nd life, so to speak. May you have that outcome.

Hi; be sure to talk to your doctor about blood thinners while you are in the hospital; a lot of people with hip or knee replacements get “Deep Vein Thrombosis” (blood clots in the legs) while hospitalized...

It’s OK. The physical therapist has worked on my legs and knees to get them straightened out after the knee surgery and then two broken legs. I’m standing a little bit. Walking a little bit and pivoting a little bit. Every day it gets better.

Please put me back in your prayer lists. I have a staph infection on my L cheek and would like to get it healed. It’s almost there, but still lingers.

I’m trying to get another round of antibiotics to treat it, but I had to deal with the strike (now off, I understand) at Kaiser Permanente.
