SOLDOTNA, Alaska A Satanic Temple member who won the right to open a regional Alaska government meeting declared Hail Satan during her first invocation, prompting about a dozen officials and attendees to walk out.
Tuesdays invocation that started the meeting of the Kenai Peninsula Borough also spurred a protest outside the southern Alaska boroughs administration building that drew 40 people, The Peninsula Clarion newspaper reported .
Protesters held signs saying reject Satan and his works and know Jesus and his love.
During her invocation, Satanic Temple member Iris Fontana said, That which will not bend, must break, and that which can be destroyed by truth should never be spared as demise. It is done, hail Satan, Kenai radio station KSRM reported .

>Christianity is a way of life based on the truth of the son of God.
, It is not a religion.<
But Jesus answered, It is written: Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God. Matt. 4:4
Seems about right to me. From the mouth of GOD not from the mouth of sinful man.
Amen to that.
You know...I used to think I was of about average intelligence, but I have realized that I am an absolute GENIUS! Either that or I'm clairvoyant. Maybe it's all the same thing.
Dude.
Satan is the great deceiver. Satanism is lies.
Satan is the deceiver behind the beginning of islam.
Play your games elsewhere.
Your butt ignorant bullshit is annoying the crap out of me.
Christianity is not “only one of many forms of religious beliefs.” I don’t recall hearing about Muhammad, Buddha or any other the others rising from the dead. Maybe I missed something.
I agree with you, but what’s the identity of that angel?
You do, of course, recall that all of the Seven Letters to the Seven Churches are addressed “To the angel of the church at...”
It’s also worth noting that chapter 14 comes AFTER the Seventh Trumpet (ch.11 v.15) and — along with chapters 12 and 13 — contains several backstory or sidebar accounts; material that is salient, but doesn’t fit in chronologically with the narrative of the Seven Seals, and Seven Trumpets that kicks off in chapter 6, and continues with the Seven Bowls in chapter 15.
So, this three-chapter (12-14) “parenthetical” material seems explanatory of key elements of the chronological Seals, Trumpets, Bowls narrative that is reaching a crescendo, here, with the Seventh Trumpet still ringing in the heavens, and the Seven Angels set for the imminent outpouring of the Seven Bowls of Wrath.
I’m always reminded “Behold, I tell you a mystery: we shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed; in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at THE LAST TRUMPET.”
— I Cor. 15:51ff
Here’s the kicker: after the Sevevth Trumpet in Rev. 11:15, there are no more; the Seventh Trumpet IS St. Paul’s Last Trumpet.
:)
There are three angels defined in Revelation 14 - though the passage seems to call that “another angel” IIRC.
The 2nd and 3rd angels have their specific tasks as well.
I’m not inclined to agree about that Last Trumpet thing. It’s often used for post-tribulationists (not saying that you are).
I suppose time will tell, eh?
I’m very comfortable with the education I have now.
Indeed, time will tell.
My greatest lament in all of it has been the appalling dearth of graciousness on the part of so many who claim faith in Christ when such matters are discussed.
And so many so firmly embrace the view their chosen camp has staked out — I’m concerned that the reference about those who are perishing because they did not receive the love of the truth may claim many of these when God unfolds His plan His way and it goes down differently than their dearly-held paradigm says it’s going to. Can they apprehend their error in the moment, change their minds and embrace what God is doing, or will they harden their hearts and say it can’t be God because He’s not following their model?
This is a dangerous thing.
We must be wiser. Yes, think what you think, but vet it repeatedly; make every claim stand on its own two legs and answer for itself out of the text.
We shall soon see what the plan really is, for Daniel was told that some of what he heard was sealed up until the time if the end, indicating the potential for some last days revelation, perhaps that may put certain passages into a more definite light.
Watch, and pray.
We know the basics are pretty solid, for sure.
I could even deal with Jack van Impe’s errors, which were many, until he started praising the pope and bashing Protestants constantly.
Jack never understood Jeremiah 50-52. Kept making it America.
And if he gave advice to W, (rumor was he went to the WH) and told W that Saddam was Gog and Magog......sigh.
In addition, I think some passages speak to Tribulation Saints and the surviving Remnant of Israel as well as to Christians prior to the Tribulation starting.
Obviously some reject the Mark of the Beast and pay with their lives. Revelation 20:4 and the 14th chapter of Revelation make that abundantly clear.
PING!
Maybe so, but they're still serving The Enemy.
That should make hate-monger Mikey Weinstein happy.
PING!
Good. Good. Too many people believe that Satan doesn’t exist.
The thing is, these fools do believe in God, they just hate Him.
Our pastor once said, “Satan’s greatest trick, convincing you that he doesn’t exist”
Also, from a movie, THE DEVIL’S ADVOCATE... Al Pacino was a lawyer and he was the devil in human form. He said “Pride, my favorite sin”
