In July 1980, Bryan Melvin drank cholera-tainted water and died.
He was transported to Hell where he saw many people being tormented for their sins, including someone he identified as Hitler.

Yes, I agree.
That's why it's misleading if not downright disingenuous to say things like "Shouldn't Hitler (or Mao, or Charlie Manson, or Ted Bundy) be tormented eternally for what he did??
It would make a much more interesting discussion to say something like, "My agnostic Uncle Bob, and my Jewish kindergarten teacher Mrs. Levine, and my Unitarian physician Dr. Stevens, deserve to be tormented eternally for what they did."
Hey Elsie, how ya doin? Haven’t seen one of your multi-screen screeds round here since Romney conceded back in ‘12.
We don't even know if the worst of the worst are being tormented eternally. They could have repented at the last minute, asked for forgiveness and be enjoying Heaven right now, while most of their victims are roasting.
>I fear the day when it wont be a few minutes.<
You have my prayer that you need not fear.
[[I fear the day when it wont be a few minutes.]]
A Common fear- (many folks are afraid of going senile- alzheimer’s etc- Your case is a little different with the brain injury- so your anxiety about it is stronger no doubt)
It’s easy to say- but hard to accept- that “God knows what He is doing” and if that means we are chosen to lose our minds, then His will be done for His purposes- He knows what He’s doing- Again- this is a very hard thing to accept- but let me relate HOW this can be a good thing-
A friend we knew had alzheimer’s and was fairly deep into it- they had moments from time to time of lucidity, but they were getting rarer-
Well, I had picked up a tract I wanted to give to a catholic friend of mine titled ‘How a catholic can know they are born again’ -
I had set the tract down on a table in our living room- and kinda forgot about it-
Our friend with the alzheimer’s had been a staunch catholic all their life, and happened to see it in a moment of lucidity, and took it to another room to read unbeknownst to any of us-
a little while later they came out and told my mother “I just accepted Christ as my Savior”- and from that day forward- you could see the love of Christ just work in that person’s life when the moments of lucidity came- The first thing out of her mouth after announcing she was saved was “I have to tell my brothers and sisters the wonderful news’- She wanted to get baptized, and wanted to tell everyone what Jesus had done for her-
God works in mysterious ways- All her life- she didn’t want to hear from any other religion- she had her beliefs, and was closed to hearing about being born again- It took alzheimer’s, and a near forgotten tract, to bring her to a point where she was ‘child-like enough’ to open her heart to Jesus and Accept Him as Savior-
Bottom line- We don’t know how, But God will see us through no matter the circumstances- We just have to somehow find peace through it- (I am terrible at finding this peace myself- I worry terrible- causes anxiety- I have to keep having others remind me that God is sufficient- it’s very hard to accept that God has a right to will what He will for His own purposes- Ask God for peace- keep praying for it-
Thank you.
Our vets need the BEST brain injury treatment the world has ever seen.
I’m not a vet, but a brain injury is a brain injury and I follow their websites very closely.
A lot of men going through the same thing.
Thank you for taking the time to answer. I appreciate it.
Are you Mormon?
:)
Hitler is in contempt, and dead. Someone can be held in contempt without being alive.
This covers it:http://www.jeremyandchristine.com/articles/lazarus.html
One amazing aspect of Scripture is it communicates His Word and involves spiritual things, which are not understandable to the unbeliever, because the unbeliever lacks the human spirit to understand spiritual things. They are only understood through the fruits of God the Holy Spirit.
When a person experiences these NDEs, they tend to be a soulish account from the unseen realm involving spiritual things (the spiritual realm).
To the soulish person, NDEs aren’t explicable, and may tend to be discounted as imaginary or untrue thinking.
Instead, they simply reveal a domain which is as real if not more real than our physical domain.
It might be noted that reports of the spiritual domain include persons within that domain who are very adversarial to humans and who are described as liars, murderers, deceivers, thieves and full of evil. They are able to influence our thinking. So we are to test the spirits and shun evil spirits.
Scripture and reading the Word is one, (if not the best) of the best methods to understand this domain in a veritable fashion.
In most cases of NDEs, the brain is not involved, until after the NDE, when the soul might then influence the physical brain.
Multi-screen?
HMMMmmm...
Yeah; our FR Mormons have been sulking, licking their wounds, keeping a low profile (Well, except Storm Prepper, who snipes from behind the bushes from time to time); so there is not much reason to post historical facts about the LDS group of churches.
But I HAVE heard faint rumor that's going around about Romney.
My elsie groupies will have to wait a while; to see what develops in the media...
That’s true. Whenever I hear a comment about “Hitler deserves to be in hell” I am tempted to ask, “Along with all the orthodox Jews he murdered??”
I have said this before...
Scripture is quiet on the subject, but I have heard enough people share their stories with me that I do believe there is something to this. He are a couple:
1. A nonbeliever neighbor had a near death experience. He told me, with a look of terror in his face, that there is a Hell and there is “retribution.” He would not come to faith until years later. He is now a Saint.
2. A woman “died” while in one of the cults that circles Christianity and she told me she went to Hell. A few years later she “died” as a Christian and went to Heaven. She had a beautiful peace about her.
