Heavenly Father –
We thank You for raising up men and women of faith to lay the foundation of our nation. All those who have put their faith in You.
And, today, may Your Spirit lead us and equip us to fight for what is right. Grant us discernment to battle the Evil One – taking on many cunning disguises, on so many fronts. Through the power of Your Spirit, grant us courage and strength to tear down spiritual strongholds that have gripped the sacred institutions and inflitrated our homes..
We confess our sins of unbelief, ungratefulness, pride, arrogance, godlessness – living our lives like You don’t exist. Give us a heart of repentance. And a hunger to know You and love You and keep Your commandments.
We lift up all our leaders to You, Father. Grant Wisdom and courage to President Trump and Vice President Pence, and the 115th Congress. Protect them from harm on all fronts. Likewise, protect all those who put themselves in harm’s way to serve others, home and abroad.
Revive us, again. Spark a Great Awakening among Your people. Bring healing to our divided land.

Thank you and amen to your beautiful prayer, and for the “Raise ‘em up” prayer from War Room, which is the answer to a prayer of mine how to respond to racial tension among friends. God is so good!
I pray today for every intercessor at this Vigil, whether a member or a visitor, and all who have participated here and will do so in coming days. Indeed, we must arm ourselves with the whole armor of God in these days, weeks and months ahead.

1 Bless the Lord, O my soul.
O Lord my God, you are very great.
You are clothed with honour and majesty,
