A good friend of mine is in a bad way and needs prayers. What I share below is from another fb friend of mine who is much closer to her, and shared what Beth's condition is. Beth has been a friend of min on FB for over 5 years and we have had many great conversations on the Bible, life and politics. She now finds herself in the fight for her life and I am pleading with you all to pray for her.
She has had many exhausting tests, and they have found that her aorta is very enlarged and that she is going to have to have surgery to repair it. They also found abdominal aneurysms. An abdominal aortic aneurysm is an enlarged area in the lower part of the aorta, the major blood vessel that supplies blood to the body. The aorta, about the thickness of a garden hose, runs from your heart through the center of your chest and abdomen.
Because the aorta is the body's main supplier of blood, a ruptured abdominal aortic aneurysm can cause life-threatening bleeding. Depending on the size and the rate at which your abdominal aortic aneurysm is growing, treatment may vary from watchful waiting to emergency surgery.
Once an abdominal aortic aneurysm is found, doctors will closely monitor it so that surgery can be planned if it's necessary. Emergency surgery for a ruptured abdominal aortic aneurysm can be risky. Another complication of aortic aneurysms is the risk of blood clots. Small blood clots can develop in the area of the aortic aneurysm. If a blood clot breaks loose from the inside wall of an aneurysm and blocks a blood vessel elsewhere in your body, it can cause pain or block the blood flow to the legs, toes, kidneys or abdominal organs. She could very well go through this surgery this weekend.
She also needs to get some weight on her so that she can survive these surgeries. She also needs to be surrounded by sisters and brothers who truly care for her and want to see her get through this very hard time. If you do not have anything positive to say, then do not say anything. Let us all try and put our sin nature on the side and lift our sister up to Jesus.
Never forget that Jesus sees everything and so do other people who might not find Jesus as a result of mean things that have been said. Let's all show and LIVE the Love of Jesus Christ in every part of our lives. God bless you!!! Maranatha!!

Prayers for Beth and her family.
I had similar surgery 4 years ago and I’m doing fine. Take one day at a time. Keep your family close and eat as much ice cream as they’ll give you.
Sharing this prayer with you for Beth.
It comes from a prayer site called :prayerscapes.com
Dear Jesus,
You walked on the earth, understood the broken world, yet also rose from death into resurrected life. I pray for my loved one that they would be held at this time in your loving arms. Bless the work of the doctors, surgeons and hospital staff, and bring the power of your resurrection life into their body. Come fill my loved one from top to toe with your restorative Spirit. May your resurrection life bring healing and wellness into their being. May your grace carry them through this hard time into a new season filled with hope and joy.
Amen.
Praying now.

Praying.
“O God beyond all praising,
we worship you today
and sing the love amazing
that songs cannot repay;
for we can only wonder
at every gift you send,
at blessings without number
and mercies without end.
We lift our hearts before you
and wait upon your word,
we honor and adore you,
our great and mighty Lord.
The flow’r of earthly splendor
in time must surely die,
it’s fragile bloom surrender
to you, the Lord most high.
But hidden from all nature
the eternal seed is sown
though small is mortal stature
to heaven’s garden grown:
for Christ the man from heaven
from death has set us free
and we, through Him are given
the final victory.
Then hear, O gracious Savior,
accept the love we bring,
that we who know your favor
may serve you as our king.
And whether our tomorrows
be filled with good or ill,
we’ll triumph through our sorrows
and rise to bless you still;
to marvel at your beauty
and glory in your ways,
and make a joyful duty
our sacrifice of praise.”

Prayers for your dear friend.
So be it.
For Beth.
Prayers said.
We recently had a very dear friend die from a pulmonary aneurysm after complications from hip surgery. He was doing okay and then he suddenly wasn't. His wife is distraught and is still in shock.
It's good that Beth is in the hospital where she can be monitored 24x7. See if she likes and can have milkshakes. That always seems to help.
So that’s the cure. Milkshakes. Who would have known.
I personally enjoy banana splits myself.
LOL
Agreeing with you in prayer, OneVike, for healing, strength, and restoration for your friend, in Jesus Holy Name, Amen.
Prayers up! I have a good friend facing this, and mt doc has also warned me about it. May God be with her!
