On Palm Sunday, April 9, 2017, Hank Hanegraaff formally joined the Orthodox Church. Since 1989 Hanegraaff has been the President of the Christian Research Institute (CRI) and (since ca. 1992) the host of CRI’s Bible Answer Man radio program.[1] Hank, his wife Kathy, and two of their twelve children were inducted by a sacramental rite called chrismation into the Orthodox faith at St. Nektarios Greek Orthodox Church in Charlotte, North Carolina, near where CRI is based. In chrismation, a baptized individual is anointed with oil in order to receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.[2]

I have NEVER once claimed to have EVER been a Protestant. God through His grace saved me from making that error. You apparently can’t even get the most basic things correct.

The "basic facts" can only be known by what the person says about himself for others to hear and understand. I wonder how many people could read these words of yours and think you DID claim to have once been a Protestant?

Those seven 1st century Catholic churches --- thank you for correctly calling them 'Catholic'--- obviously had some problems. I sure hope they listened to St. John's Apostolic corrections.

The seven churches in Asia were genuine members of the one holy catholic church; they were recognized by the Messiah Himself as genuine churches. He spoke of "churches" and addressed the respective "angel" of each of them. He mentioned a candlestick associated with each church. He said "I know thy works" seven times. He did not reprove them for lack of faith, but rather for lack of works. He stressed that "all the churches shall know that I am he which searcheth the reins and hearts: and I will give unto every one of you according to your works."

Here is one way to look at it. The disparagement of one holy catholic apostolic church because these catholic churches were reproved in the book of Revelation is like the Samaritans despising the Jews because of what was written in the Jewish Bible. The seven churches are like the Jews, and the faith communities that formed themselves fifteen to twenty centuries later, that follow a Protestant, Reconstructionist, or Restorationist model, are like the Samaritans. The Messiah reached out graciously to both Jews and Samaritans. However, He pointed out to the Samaritans "Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews." One day our unity will be completely restored.

The facts remain the same: I NEVER ONCE CLAIMED TO BE A PROTESTANT. I was saved from that by the grace of God.

God saved me from Protestantism. I have always been Catholic. There’s no contradiction there. But we all know about the reading comprehension issues of Protestants.
