This has VERY much to do with physical descent, since the “Khazar theory” is used as a club against the Jewish people in the land of ISRAEL.

I suspect they are literal descendants tho probably some intermixing.

When I see or hear of a person whose last name is Lazarus, Soloman, or David, it just seems natural that he is a descendant of someone with the same name.

True. But originally they (Ashkenazi Jews, which is my own lineage) migrated to Europe/Eastern Europe from the middle east.

I have a lot of trouble keeping focused on videos, unless they are from R’ Mendel Kessin or R’ Yitzchak Ginsburgh. An hour with them is like an infusion of months of study material.

In any case, I’d like to get to this one if it won’t drag along.

In the meantime, the DNA of who’s who is going to shock people, especially the analysts and historians, because the obvious will be obvious. Before technology, a father’s son was recognized by far more basic methods, such that even a simple milkman could figure it out.
