He was quick to judge Trump though, and quick to judge about protecting our borders.

It’s awful the way Catholics run around the world criticizing others with their swords, guns and knives! Oh, wait...

The Pope is wrong in his interpretation of not judging others, but he is fallable.

The pontiff instead urged his followers to focus on love

Yeah, "love thy jihadi."

I would have to say, being Catholic myself, he needs to look in the mirror before he tells us to do that, we didn’t comment on anyone in his Vatican as he did about our Presidential Candidate, we haven’t heard him say anything to his ‘flock’ about the rules of our church, only what ‘he’ wants done...IMHO: “False Prophet”....

Ya know Mr. Pope...I don't hang around with prostitutes, pimps, drug pushers, rapists, bank robbers etc, etc. I certainly do have a right to judge.

It's only the final judgement that is not mine.

There is an irony in accusing other people of being judgemental.

This pope fails to notice that he is, himself, judging others.

What a hypocrite. And we know what Jesus thought of hypocrites.

Judgment Warning: this guy is not fit to be the head of any Christian organisation. It is NOT about judging it is about right and wrong as biblically stated. Frankie has a problem with calling sin “sin.”

I wonder if the pope is remembering all the Huguenots who were slaughtered this day, St Bartholomew’s Day on August 24, 1572, when the Catholic pope of that time judged the Huguenots for their belief in the Christian Bible ???

The St Bartholomew’s Day Massacre wasn’t due to any love or understanding or mercy on the part of the Catholic assassins...

Frankie might well declare “Being judgmental is very ugly. Judgment belongs only to God, to Him alone!” but he would be better employed reflecting on the ugliness of the history of judgment and hypocrisy of the Catholic Church...

Other than the Crusades in which the Catholic popes got it right for once, and fought actual enemies of Christianity, most false judgment has fallen on innocent Protestant believers who were not a threat to Catholic people or lands...

When is the pope going to judge the moslems as bygone popes righteously did ???

If you don’t learn to judge others, you don’t learn from their mistakes and you don’t protect yourself from mishap. Used to think the same way the Pope directs and then realized that you don’t grow as a human being if you don’t have good judgement. If you are not judgemental, you would open all the prisons and let those that were judged to be a danger to us out into society.

those who constantly judge people should instead reflect on their own behavior.

rational pursuit of goals requires doing both plus judging one's conditions and one's environment.

Dear Francis - Jesuit whore of Babylon,

Luke 17:1-4

17 Jesus said to his disciples: "Things that cause people to sin are bound to come, but woe to that person through whom they come. 2 It would be better for him to be thrown into the sea with a millstone tied around his neck than for him to cause one of these little ones to sin. 3 So watch yourselves.

"If your brother sins, rebuke him, and if he repents, forgive him. 4 If he sins against you seven times in a day, and seven times comes back to you and says, 'I repent,' forgive him." NIV

What do Jesus' words Rebuke, Repent, and Forgive mean?

{ BTW, notice no Roman vesitigial plumage required for the Forgive part... }

In my opinion the passage in the bible the Pope is referring too is one of the most misunderstood in the whole bible.

Jesus was confronting a lawless MOB unlawfully about to condemn a prostitute to death.

1st of all, no one in the mob had the authority to cast judgement on the girl, and were thus about to commit murder themselves.

2nd, prostitutes don't have sex alone, and I am betting that in a small town many of the men there had been her clients, thus making them just as guilty as her!

3rd, there is no possible way to spread the word of how God wishes us to live our lives and what God does not wish us to do without JUDGING others behavior!

When someone asks me a question where the obvious answer is no, my sarcastic response is "Is the Pope Catholic?"

Why not, the President isn't American.
